Aw too bad Sam. Hopefully you can get to one out that way as they are a ton of fun.

But then hey, it's the summer... plan a trip to T.O. one time around a GTA meet time and stop by :)

We even had ol' Switched make the trip from Nova Scotia once.

Never know, may just see what's going on next time you have a meet and greet!! I quite enjoy TO!

I go outside at work for a 'smoke' break with one of my coworkers. I can't say it smells terrible yet....sure the nasty smell of the elevator when a bunch of smoker come on...and I don't think anyone thinks emptying ashtrays or cans etc smells good....but a freshly sparked one....it may take a little longer until I consider that a horrible smell :)

I'm still sorta amazed that after four day I'm not crawling the walls. So far the trick seems to be to use 24mg in the morning and 18 thru the rest of the day. I have some VG to dilute if I opt to go lower in the evenings. Pay day tomorrow so I'll be likely putting in a juice and the odd atty etc order in tomorrow :) exciting stuff!!

I'm struggling at 48mg trying to get back on track following a major falling of the wagon failure 2 weeks ago after FINALLY reaching ZERO cigarettes since Jan 19th this year (I'm so mad at myself !!).

No excuse, but I started a legal mediation prep at that time, and the mediation itself threw "me" right back into tobacco when vaping just wasn't doing a damn thing for me at that time with all the anxiety of my case. I intentionally do NOT buy cigarettes and vape away (unsatisfied), but can't seem to push myself to stick with it and beat the cravings, so I end up driving to the store (miles away) and cave.... again..... and again.

Honestly, I seriously just need this 4+ yr lawsuit to end, get on with my life, and to concentrate on ME once I have the funds to pull out of the huge debt this has put me into.

I'll get there again..... but damn.... didn't think I'd fall so hard !!

Ya same here, pretty much 24mg in the morning (or when beer drinking) and 18mg through the day. I have even gone down to 9mg, but it isn't cutting it for me yet.

I've discovered I seem to chain vape in the car....I suspect this is normal at the get go? :) Think I may bring some lower strength for home commute haha!!

Sam Congrats!!!! I am almost 5months same deal.. I tried an analog after 2nd week threw it out the window after a couple of puffs.. Definately confirmed it for me....

Five months is awesome! I'll no doubt try an analog at some point just to see....not out of a bought back. I'll use a friend!

I noted your counter at the bottom...that's a lot of coin saved in five months!!! wow. Give you're in the US that's a shocker! Thought they were quite a bit cheaper down there?

48mg...I'd pass out! but that beings said I smoked whimpy smokes! A four year lawsuit has got to suck! Sorry to hear. At the same time at least you keep on trying!

I really want to quit. Badly...for coin as well as health. I'm 34, started at 17, and more hardcore from 20 on. I'm starting to notice health issues as far as workouts go etc. Just had enough. But I suspect there's always going to be a struggle not to stop and hit the store :(

Hey smokum, 48mg? holy cow I would pass out lol. What kind of throat hit do you get with that? WOW. Anyhow dont get to upset with yourself. You fell off the wagon but your back on it again. I think next to falling off a cliff, legal stuff is most stressful. Just keep trying you will get to 0 again.

I quit the beginning of Feb this year and tried my first analog since 2 weekends ago after ~10 beers. The vaping wasn't giving me the lung burn I was craving in my buzzed state so I caved. Luckily the idea of that smoke was much better than the smoke itself. I get a stronger hit using a 24mg tobacco flavor and a lr atty and it left the worst taste in my mouth too.
If and when I fall off the wagon again, I won't feel guilty. I'll just think of the thousands of analogs I've avoided since Feb, 2011 and be very thankful I live in an era that vaping is an option!
Oh yeah... I'm thankful for my REO grand too!

I've no desire to quit analogs unless it just happens naturally, which it hasn't yet, however there does seem to be an ideal amount where you don't smoke them so close together as to not get satisfaction but at the same time they aren't so far apart as to get you going through withdrawal. So I've been able to achieve that with vaping which is a whole pack of 25's less a day. So I'm happy about that, mission accomplished so far, and we'll see how things go down the road.

I wonder though, among those of you who have switched to vaping full time, now difficult was it?

It wasn't easy. I just said when this pack is gone I am not buying another. 2 days I was a basket case. I dyi'd the strongest flavour I had (licorice). for 2 weeks I don't think I slept more than 3 hrs a night. I believe no matter when you do it, there's going to be a withdrawal. There's just far too many chemicals we are removing. Dependancy for me had been a long long time and I smoked heavy. When I worked the alarm monitoring station job, it was 12 hr shifts. I gave up my lunch break to be able to have a few smoke breaks instead because I couldn't make it until coffee break... I quit that job. so outdoor jobs I knew were for me. Take less pay just so I could smoke when I wanted. that's an addict haha.

but vaping sure made it a lot easier. I chain vaped about 5ml a day. I was reading here people saying 3ml a week. I thought wow lightweights. and I started at 28mg. I still vape about 3ml+ a day. but I vape different stuff, some with th, some I want just flavour and vapor. the regaining of taste did that. and if I vape tasty stuff I don't eat as much. I never did gain a ton of weight this time around because of vaping. most other attempts I just stuffed my face... got split lips from sunflower seeds (and sore tongue) chewed gum into oblivion (don't much like gum anymore either now... besides I can vape juicy fruit haha)

For me it was an easy transition, I think this was made possible due to the fact that I wasn't addicted to smoking tobacco. I was, and still am, addicted to the act of smoking, the feeling of blowing out smoke. It's relaxing. Kind of like shesha or XXXXXX, it's not something I'm addicted to but I love the relaxation that comes from the smoke.
