Hey everyone! Please can you help me with a few issues i've got..

Hey folks!

I got given an "e-health cigarette" by my friend the other day, as he had it going spare. The only problem was he didn't have a charger for it..

I put in a new cartridge, had a drag on it, and the light came on, but no vapour came out, even though i could still sort-of taste some..

He said it might be because it was so low on battery, that the light came on, even though the vaporiser bit wasn't kicking in.

I just bought a charger for it, plugged it in and the light doesn't come on when charging like it's meant to.. Only when i unplug it, it flashes three times.

It's been charging (or plugged in anyway) for half an hour now, and i just tried it again and i'm getting the same problem - a light but no vapour.

Any ideas?

I don't know that there is a solution for you that involves still using that particular ENI. Most people will tell you to go spend 50 bucks on a nice KGO/EGO kit, some cartomizers and juice for it, and honestly that is the advice that I am giving people who ask me about getting into vaping. The little 510's look nice but are just not good enough to help most people actually quit smoking. There are several threads in here that talk about where to get the best price, or you could always choose from one of the vendors listed in here as trustworthy. Cheers,

When I say ego/kgo I mean something like this for $34.99 which is a pretty good deal.

Hi and welcome to ECF. The problem could be:
battery is broken
charger is broken/ malfunctioning
connection between battery and cart/ atomizer is bad
Threads/ connections dirty on cart and/ or battery- clean all connections but be careful about NOT shorting out the battery.
Battery is not being charged long enough.
If you have access to a multimeter you can test the battery.

OK I`ll try to answer your queries but without knowing the make and model of your "e-health cig"i`m going to have to make some assumptions,
I assume the light you talk about is the one on the end of the cig (to try to make it look like a real ...). This light is just a red led and is turned on by a switch as you suck, it will light up even if the battery is almost flat.
You say that when you plug it into the charger this light flashes 3 times and goes out. This is normal for this type of battery and shows it is charging. It will flash again about 8-9 times when fully charged. There should also be a light on the charger that shows red whilst charging and turns green when fully charged.
Now as to lack of vapour, well it probably is the flat batt that`s causing it, but if you got the cartridge from your friend with the cig and he`s had it lying around long enough for the battery to lose it`s charge then it may be that the cart has dried out too.
Now for some more assumptions, assuming the battery charges up, and assuming the cart is ok, if you still don`t get any vapour then it`s most likely the atomiser is dead, but you can get new atomisers from any of the vendors mentioned on here. I see your in the uk so try Totally Wicked, or Enjuice, or Paradise Vape (you can get fresh carts from all of thes too)

it flashes three times only when i remove it from the charger, not when i plug it in. when i plug it in it does nothing.. and also there is no light on the charger.

i have tried cleaning all the connections, so i think i will try a new atomiser, as it seems the most likely thing to have gone wrong, as he only bought it a month ago, so the battery should not be dying.

i am not really prepared to buy a more expensive one, i just want to get this one working, as i'm not a heavy smoker, so dont need some fancy long-lasting one.

As my friend still has his one, i will try swapping over the parts between the two first to see which bit is actually broken.
