So since you beat me in the logo contest (which means I hate you ), I've been trying to make it look bad on the new Prodigy.

I have to say... I really like it! So, of course that means I now only merely dislike you

I think the logo will be etched along the side -- and unfortunately -- the variant color scheme in the "V" won't work. We will be making it completely Gray/Charcoal

I'll be ordering mine late next month since I'm going to be on the road the the 2nd and 3rd week of Jan and don't want my new Prodigy sitting outside in the snow.

Well I can tell you that if it's the same way the Protege is done it'll survive a buffing
I was dorking around last night and polished the Protege. I'll have to post some pics of it later. Right now it's not as shiny as the Prodigy came out but it's definately smooooooth as glass. The botton, end cap and adapter is like a mirror but the SS strands in the body are still the slightest bit noticeable. I'm going to try hitting it with some red rouge and see if that'll tighten it up a little bit.

Yes, I'd love to have a black Protege. I wonder what the best way to put a durable black finish on it would be? Find someone with a powder coat gun?

Well, I have aluminum gun frames Teflon coated. It's very durable and thin

Thanks for all the compliments on the modeling and yeah, I want to make one of my proteges black. I'm working out the details and will post actual pics if I can get it done the way I want.
