Awesome... now you have me curious as to what batteries this thing will be using I can't imagine at this point what one (small) cell will put out that much voltage.

Unless... is it going to be shorter, but a bit wider? Say to have two AAA sized batts run in series side by side?

Yes, That would do it. Perhaps something that would look more boxy, like the Janty stick, but with the atomizer on the outside and unlikely to leak juice into the rest of the works.
