Welcome and glad you joined. Sub ohm'g on a subvod battery with 1300 mAh is fine if you realize what mAh is all about.
Some notes may help:
Basically, the 1st two numbers in a battery's mAh, is going to give you the amount of time that battery is going to give you for constant vape time, at/around 3.5 to 3.7 volts. (with around a 5-hour average "take" without any give, lol) So, if a battery is 2500mAh, that battery is going to give you right around 20 to 25 hours constant vape-time before it needs to be charged. get it? a 3000mAh battery will give ya around 25-30 hours of constant vape time. Now some would argue that this is BS, but, I find it to be ROUGHLY true. It's a very rough rule as-to how long a battery will vape for at 3.5 to 3.7 volts. Obviously if you are using that battery in a regulated mod at a wattage giving you higher than 3.7v it's going to cut at that number. This is a basic guideline for using that battery in a mechanical mod or unregulated mod. You're going to want to change the battery far before that 20-25hrs for a 2500mAh battery in a mechanical-mod is dead.... (because most will want a fresh battery right-around the time that 2500mAh battery has given them HALF of it's 20-25 constant-vape-time hours, so that battery will really only give you around 10-15 hours "happy" vape-time, lol) But it's a good basic guideline.

the mAh has no effect on vape quality. just the amount of time the battery will keep a charge. the AMP-limit of a battery is important to note, especially if you plan to use low resistance builds. If you stress the battery's amp limits, that will increase the internal temp, which in-turn contributes to a failing battery. Hello :)

It's very much dependent on coil resistance (in unregulated mods) and vape style. I seriously doubt that many get 25 hours of vape time from a 2500 mAh battery. Was more applicable in the time of Ego pen batteries and ce4 clearos.
