Ireland.
Been lurking for a bit. Finally joined and coming to say hello.

Been an on and off smoker for years. Off mostly due to non-related illnesses.

Picked up an 88vape disposable battery, clearomiser, and four juices, from Dealz to try. Had no problems with it and am still using it.

Shortly after I got a Wicked BlowOne starter kit. I like the 5 click on/off feature. The cap is not a good fit though, and not the right length at all, so it just falls off. I live by a lake, lots of flies, so having a good cap is a must; plus I have birds and animals in the house. I'm not too keen on the flashing lights activity when turning it on and off and while using. Plus, with the hot pink battery colour, it's very noticeable. It pretty much came fully charged out of the pack, so waiting to see how long before the battery goes.

Will be lurking a lot more and probably only posting if I have a problem and Search doesn't help, while I research a better mod that doesn't require much maintenance.

I'm more interested in the flavour - my nicotine level is 11mg, and I'm hoping to bring that down as I try different flavours. Might try DIY juice making at one point.

Welcome @RedBullBabe

What you have are two eGo type set-ups with basic clearomisers. 88 vape is found in many UK stores and 'Wicked Blow One' is a similar cheap set up.

When you ask about the cap, do you mean the plastic tank or really some sort of mouthpiece cover?

Most e-cig stuff requires maintenance of some sort, but good quality atomizers (the tanks, clearomisers etc.) are fairly fuss free although you do need to change the small 'coil head' inside them.

I'd like to help further but need to go out for some hours. Be sure to check back in :)

Yes, a cap on the mouthpiece.

I don't mind having to change the coil head, if it's a swap out old for new situation. I'm fine with priming. I just don't want to have to do anything fiddly like rewicking.

No worries, fiddly is optional. :)

Now.. a purpose designed mouthpice (drip tip) cover/cap is a different question. Innokin make a new e-cig with an interesting 'lid' design called Innokin T20

Endura T20 - Innokin

£20 or 22 euros (approx)... I was thinking of investing, I must say.

Otherwise, I am not sure. We used to cover drip tips with cartomizer covers but it's hardly a fix-all solution.

Welcome to ECF! I use a bag to hold all my ecig stuff that's just a soft, craft bag with a drawstring. Keeps things out of my vape when not using them, but a cap for your driptip will do the same thing. For some reason, (for me) SS driptips pick up so much more... IDK even know what it is, but yuckness. Delrin is so much easier for me to manage. No clue why, but I was constantly cleaning SS drip tips, delrin not so much....

Hi Ya' & Welcome To ECF...As @djsvapour mentioned the Endura T-20 is interesting and at 2ml is compliant...Spare coils and extra tanks are relatively inexpensive...If you look at these be mindful the T-20S is different enough that it should probably have had a different name altogether...I do not own one so I can't really tell you much about it...I do own a T18 which I like with one exception being that the battery is not adjustable and is fixed at 14watts which produces a vape that is just a bit warm for my tastes...I note that the T20 is fixed at 13watts...I use several different batteries that are variable devices...Here are a few links to the products that give very good views of the various items...On each page you can scroll through the various "Models"...I'm sure you can obtain any of this in the UK On-Line or from a Shop...

$22.23 Authentic Innokin Endura T20 1500mAh Mod + Prism T20 Tank Starter Kit - 2ml / 1.5ohm / USB charger at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping
$9.36 Authentic Innokin Prism T20 Tank Clearomizer - 2ml / 1.5ohm / stainless steel + glass at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping
$8.81 Authentic Innokin Prism T20 Replacement Coil Head (5-Pack) 5-pack - 1.5ohm at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping

PS...Fast Tech is a reliable supplier but not to swift on the shipping !!!
Also...There seems to be 1000 or 1500mah versions...Shop Carefully !!!

In the UK, if you pay the paltry (less than) £1 shipping upgrade, you can get items in about a week to ten days. It's called e-packet and I use it every time except for battery items which would include the actually vape pen itself sadly.
But for coils and parts, get the e-packet. :)
Fastest ever was 6 days from China.

PS - at the moment, the Chinese are celebrating and having a lot of holidays so I can't really say how shipping is right now.

You could also always go with buying a pack of refillable cartomizers, most times these come with silicone covers on them, I use a lot of times these silicon covers to cover my mouth pieces on my tanks, if to loose you can always rimmijig a small rubber band wrapped around the center to give ample friction.

Thank you for all your answers. They are muchly appreciated!

I do have a few silicone covers, but the one that came with the BlowOne is not a good fit. Maybe they come in different sizes. I shall have a look around.

I've been trawling reviews, and seen a few I like. I just need to sleep on it and see if I can check them out in person as well.

Thanks again.

Welcome and glad you joined.
My grand parents were born in Ireland which makes me half Irish. Glad to see you starting simple, you will learn the right way to vape. Building your on coils ( on a RDA, I'm at high ohms and low watts 1.5~2.0 ohms/6.7w/30ga;4-6 turns;3 mm. ID;Rayon wick) and using an internal battery like a Eleaf Istick 30 w would be very economical.
A word about DIY, for the first six months of vaping, most folks are getting their vaping legs (finding the best set up for them and getting to know the type of flavors they enjoy most), might want to wait the 6 months or so until you feel you are ready. If your vape equipment is stable and you have a known/predictable responses to several e-liquids mixes, your chances of DIY success will be greater. DIY tends to work best by rewarding those who exercise a bit of patients.
Feel free to PM me if you get stuck.

Beware reviews. I am worried for you now... please do ask if you need any leads.
Review sites are notoriously unreliable... I don't know what you'll find available in Ireland but Google is often not your friend.
