Thanks for the help. I think I will get:
- 1 x Vision Spinner 2
- 1 x Kanger Aerotank v2 (regular size)
- 4 x Kanger Replacement Dual Coil
- 1 x joyetech eGo rapid USB charger

While the MVP has a huge battery, it's bulky and I don't think I'd want to carry it around with me.

The iTaste VV v3.0 is a great size but only at only 800mAh, I feel it wouldn't last me the day.
I started on a similar setup all of which is good. All I can say is when those egos are dead your gonna miss not having the v3.0 pass through vv. It's great to be able to charge all day in the car or at work. Not that often did I find the 800mah to be an issue cause soon enough I was back to a place where I could charge it. Nothing will make u want an analog more than wanting a vape and equipment is charging or dead... U can pick one up for the price of a spinner on e Bay I'd go with one spinner and 3.0vv

Welcome lolkid! I have nothing much more to add, other than backup battery. The Spinners are NOT passthrough (I do not believe), and you wouldn't be able to vape while charging it whereas the VV3 or the MVP2 is a passthrough device. I have two each - MVP2/VV3/Spinner (v1) 1300, and love them all.

I usually run EVOD tanks - typically run the "bigger" kayfun (clones) on the MVP, as the imbalance/top-heaviness is awkward to *me*. One good thing about the VV3s is that it's a "square stick" as opposed to the Spinner (cylindrical). Less likely to "roll away" from you.

Juices will be your next "hurdle" BUT, sampling is 1/2 the fun ;)

Cheers!

I smoke roughly 10 Malboro Lights per day and I'm keen to clear out my lungs and start running again - so I have decided to give 'vaping' a try.

I have been reading through the forums and I think that I want the following bits of kit:
- Kanger AeroTank clearomiser
- Vision Spinner 2 battery
- Joyetech eGo rapid USB charger

Other that e-liquid, do I need anything else?

I have no idea what type of e-liquid to go for. Is starting with a 'Tobacco' flavour a good idea?

hello thelolkid, welcome to the ultimate vaping club ECF

vision spinner is a good choice and a tuff battery
(and I think these look great on them) :D

- Kanger Aerotank Mow - Clearomizers/Tanks
- Kanger Aerotank Mow - Clearomizers/Tanks
- Vision Spinner V2 1650mAh Battery - Batteries - Accessories

- Kanger MOW Tanks [VE742-B7] - £13.95 : Vape Escape
- Kanger Aerotank [VE656-B7] - £18.99 : Vape Escape
- NEW Vision Spinner II [VE687-B3] - £23.99 : Vape Escape

- Kanger Aerotank Mow - Clearomizers
- Kanger Aerotank V2 - Clearomizers
- Vision Spinner 2 1650 Mah - Batteries & Chargers
- Kanger Emow Starter Kit - Starter Kits
- TOBACCO - 50/50 E LIQUID

maybe try to get two of same flavor but 2 nic levels at first
(1) 6-12mg / (2nd) 12-18mg

good luck

:)

Hey thelolkid, welcome to the worlds greatest forum ( ECF )

I wish you a lot of luck! You have come to the right place.

I am a fan of Kanger products! The spinner batteries are a great choice.
Depending on what the future holds for you and if you ever want to get into rebuilding your own coils, the coils for the Protank 3, the Mini Protank 3, the Aerotank and the Mini Aerotank are interchangeable. They are all dual coil and if you try and get the V1 atomizers you can rebuild them at a definite cost savings.

We are all here to help in any way we can, feel free to ask questions and someone will be here to help!

Welcome and Good Luck!

Why the itaste vv v3 & not the SVD or the other ones.
Isn't 800 mah not that powerful of a battery? That's what confuses me. Is the itaste 3 better than 1300 spinner for daytime use?

Hi Pretty8386, welcome

two basic different styles
SVD, ZMAX, VAMO, etc are higher output powered (3v-6v / 3w-15w)
AND require a changeable battery type + a charger
most now are considered "MODs" (not an ego battery)

then other style would be self-contained battery (ego style)

batteries measured in mAh (mili-amps), most common 650, 900, 1000, 1100, 1300, 1600 mah

the VVv3 is a solid device with a list of great features, but ONLY 800 mah
the VVv3 has a big brother the MVP, same features but is 2600mah !

so to answer your question,

the VVv3 will give you info about its own state and the topper you have screwed on (onboard display)

the ego sticks, just screw topper on and vape...

800mah isn't how strong you vape, but how long the battery will last

so whatever mah you have, is how long it lasts until needing charged...

:)

If you purchase a kangertech pro tank 2 and an air flow control valve you will have the same thing as an aerotank for a fraction of the cost. Buy from fasttech.com and you'll pay even less...shipping takes a while sometimes but shipping is free anywhere world wide...

Edit: I used to use a Tesla set up with my kangertech tank but I just bought an I taste vtr....and I think I am in love. Again, best price was fasttech.com
All my DIY mixes are 50:50 PG/VG. You can go any nic level to your liking.

- Joyetech eGo rapid USB charger

HALT!

You might want to double check that the joyetech charger will charge the spinner, mine did not. The joytech ego batts have a shallower connection and it is best to find a charger where the connection pin "sticks out" a little further. (visually, the plastic black rims of the usb connection will be cut back a little further, instead of being almost flush with the connector pin on the usb charger. )

There are a lot of posts about that on here.

Or, you can just carve off part of the outer black plastic rim on the ego charger....it will fit the spinner better.

I can't say for sure but I've had 3 spinners and my genuine joyetech usbs did not work right. I bought some cheap no name usbs and they were fine. The wall adapters are fine though.

With the exception of duel coil option and does not except new style kanger coil which is a nice upgrade from the old coils imo.

So I picked up my first e-liquid yesterday: Mrs Lord and Co's Ginger Nut - to use with my VV and Aerotank Mini.

Overall, very happy with it and I like the taste and sensation of vaping. I particularly like it when I hear the odd crackle - it seems to give me a stronger 'hit', but I could just be imagining it.

While I like the ginger nut taste and smell, I do miss the 'harshness' of a regular cigarette and the cigarette smell and flavour, but I think I can get over it. I do find that vaping doesn't go as nicely with alcohol or a black coffee - but again, it's something that I'm sure I can get over and overall I am very happy.

I've had one 'analogue' in the last 24 hours - just figured that I'd allow myself 1 cigarette per day until the last pack I have is finished. After that, I intend to buy no more.

glad to hear you're getting along well
you just need to find a juic that gives you that sensation
maybe '555' or turkish, increase PG and NIC levels
put in a tank for "just that time"

good luck - soon to be stinkie free :D

The vv V3 allows you to vape while charging (pass through) which you can do with any USB port. I never had a problem with mine not lasting most of the day if not the whole day. The MVP also has pass through charging but 2600mah battery.
