I have over 1000 cds so I'll just name a few....Most importantly....Mad Season...the deluxe edition is being released on my B day...April 2nd....If you don't know who they are....It's Layne Staley from Alice in Chains on vocals.....Mike McCready from Pearl Jam...Barrett Martin from the Screaming Trees on the skins...and an unknown Bass player John Baker Saunders ..McCready met in rehab back in 1994...They only released 1 album and did a handful of shows including the Moore Theatre show that was only released on VHS and wasnt the complete concert...This release has the whole show on dvd...and a remastered audio on cd.....Also on the dvd is their New Years eve performance at a club called RCKNDY that was shot by band crew members....on the other cd is the origional album with 4 new songs...3 of which are with Mark Lanegan from the Screaming Trees on vocals .....who also did 2 duets with Layne on the origional album...Layne passed in 2002 and Baker in 1999....Music was being written for a 2nd album but it never came to fruition....until now....4 of those were chosen to be put on this deluxe edition...Are you following me at all?...haha....Anyways, I highly reccomend them to anyone into heavy blues with some deep dark lyrics....Fantastic live....For a side project, who only did 6 total shows, you would think they were playing together for years...and actually the shows were their rehearsals....If you dig these guys, I have all 6 shows on cds and I can burn you copies....maybe trade for some juice...
others off the top of my head.....the Stones....Seger....Gov't Mule....Pink Floyd...the Doors...Neil Young....ACDC......early Aerosmith....Metallica...some 80's hair bands.....a lot of 90's grunge...alternative...or whatever you wanna call it......the Stooges....Really I'll just stop there....Too many to name.......
