Never thought I would see that day. Thought for sure Shadow would never leave that spot.

Welcome back GT. You have been missed

Shadow and HA are odd. There are times I really groove on them and then they get too rich for me. I'll go nuts on them for a week then put them down for a bit to recover. I think much of it is dependent on what my buds are doing. But both of them really benefit from a good long steep to knock down that rich, creamy base. And on that note, I have been vaping both of them the last several days.

I haven't been gone, but more time constrained lately. By the time I catch up on all the threads, that's my forum time used up for a while. :)

Yeah, they liked that. The main campus is about 20 minutes away. :)

Very convenient! I commuted to undergrad myself. Took the train (an hour each way) to downtown ChiTown every day (in the shadow of the Sears Tower). Train time was good for studying but to be honest, I almost always used it to nap since I got almost no sleep in those days.

Thought you had only one boy at home at the moment?

tobacco:

1A) Serendipity
1B) Dragon's Fire
3) Legend
4) SLUDGE
5) Heavenly Army

That was then. This is now...

Having spent some time with a juice I hadn't yet tried, and more time with one I had only begun to vape, my answers have changed.

1. HUNTSMAN - I finally found it. My AD/EDV This is so good I almost broke out into a dance. Nice, earthy, slightly nutty. Yummmmm
2. Sludge - I very nearly made this my #1, and on certain days, it might be #1. This is my "grown up" vape. Bold, rich, flavorful. Just awesome stuff.
3. Dragon's Fire - this fell a few notches. Partly because the other 2 knocked my socks off. Partly because the bloom is off the rose. It's not as rich as I remember anymore.
4. Legend - may climb higher when I get around to trying out "Original Gandy." But Cherrydalf just isn't so mind blowing lately. Still great. But not top 3.
5a. Pirate's Booty - maybe lower than deserved. But I haven't vaped it in a long time.
5b. Serendipity - after a month steep, I couldn't figure out what this reminded me of. then it hit me: Johnson Creek's Domestic. Odd that I like this better straight away than steeped.

I still have HA steeping, so this is all prone to change again. :) But one juice you can be sure will never appear here is Oompa. Blech! It's not deserving of Heather's name.

I've not tried Oompa but your experience with it is the same way I feel about Sludge. I still need to give it another try, it's been sitting waiting for another shot for quite some time now. But I is scared. ;)

Thanks so much for this post!! I've been trolling trying to find any reference to JC juices particularly Domestic, Swiss dark, or Vanda. They are my All time faves but I'd like to try another supplier! I think I'll order serendipity!

Emily, I am a former JC vaper. I'd be glad to discuss any JC juice and HHV alternatives for you. Fire away.

Oompa didn't even taste like the description. It almost tasted like latex. I may have received a bad batch, or my taste buds don't agree with it. It had plenty of steeping time (6 weeks). It smells delicious, but that doesn't translate to the flavor. But I'll allow that it could just be me.

Sludge OTOH is so wonderfully complex, bold, flavorful. Yeah, it's a little on the sweet side, but not as sweet to me as I feared it would be (over a month old when I tried it, so maybe it "matured.")

Oh, and time for a new update/edit since I've been destroying my first bottle of HA:

1. HUNTSMAN - I finally found it. My AD/EDV This is so good I almost broke out into a dance. Nice, earthy, slightly nutty. Yummmmm
2A. Sludge - I very nearly made this my #1, and on certain days, it might be #1. This is my "grown up" vape. Bold, rich, flavorful. Just awesome stuff.
2B. Heavenly Army - All I can say is WOW! Beautifully complex and creamy. I get slightly different flavor notes depending on the time of day it seems. A candidate for #1 on some days.
3. Dragon's Fire - this fell a few notches. Partly because the other 3 knocked my socks off. Partly because the bloom is off the rose. It's not as rich as I remember anymore.
4A. Pirate's Booty - maybe lower than deserved. But it's very hard to choose with these NETs.
4B. Legend - may climb higher when I get around to trying out "Original Gandy." But Cherrydalf just isn't so mind blowing lately. Still great. But not top 3.
5. Serendipity - after a month steep, I couldn't figure out what this reminded me of. then it hit me: Johnson Creek's Domestic. Odd that I like this better straight away than steeped.

Let's remember that Gandalf was the first HHV juice that caught fire on this forum and contributed to HHV's popularity. So I'm sure the "legend" of Gandalf has a lot to do with its continuing success.

I still like Gandalf/Legend, but there are a few others from HHV higher on my list.

Agree. But 10:1?
