Hi I'm really struggling to stop smoking and vape only I can only take 6mg of nictotine or it burns the back of my throat I'm using 6mg and 50/50 but don't feel it helps my cravings at all my set up is an innokin endura t22 Any help would be great x
Try a higher VG Juice like a 70% VG and 30% PG and mice up to a 12 mg nicotine.

Thanks two bears for the advice could you or anyone recommend a kit that can take high vg as the innokin endura t22 I have won't take higher than 50/50 the coils clog and get dry hits thanks

Most coils clog from sweet juices.

Some people here vape unflavored eJuice.

Nicotine and the Propylene Glycol causes that nasty throat hit.

Most time when. A cravings are not being satisfied it us because the nicotine level is too low.

I recommend people like you have two seperate Atomizers with the nicotine strength that works for yoy through the day, in the second differerent color Tank with a higher level of nicotine, abd vape this second Tank those few times a day when you feel yoy MUST HAVE a cigarette. Sych as in the morning with coffee, and after dinner.

When i got my starter kit tge person behind tge counter asked my smoking habit. I told them 2-2.5 packs a day for 38 years. They started ne off with 18 mg and it worked.

I started making my eJuice abd gradually lowered my nicotine 1 mg at a time every 6-8 weeks. 12/28/2016 i went 0 mg nicotine, abd been Nicotine free seven months.

Howdy! and Welcome!

I would lean towards Two_Bears suggestion that nicotine is too low (and PG is too high) - higher VG content tends to lead to smoother 'hit' overall... also, if I am not mistaken, the Endura T22 uses a 1.5 ohm coil - and, as a general rule of thumb, you would use a higher nicotine level with that higher ohm coil (compared to lower nic levels on sub ohm coils)

personally, I would recommend the Joyetech ego AIO devices - they are becoming available in a variety of formats (pen, box mod, etc) but the basic pen uses a .6 ohm coil, has built in battery and usb charging - available for about $15 from Sweet-Vapes.com if I recall correctly and works fine with 70% vg juices (and you would actually get better nic delivery from that 6mg juice you are using now, though the pg level might still cause harshness) - might look at getting some 70% vg 9mg and 6mg juice in same flavor as well as a pair of the pens (at $15 apiece, it's a pretty solid deal) - if you find that the 9mg is too much nic, you can mix it with the 6mg to step it down

keep the faith - you are on the right path

Welcome @lindsey55 and good luck on becoming a former smoker. I vape as high as 90% VG e-Liquids and find that only those with sweeteners are hard on coils. I was at 18MG to 24MG when I started and immediately dropped to 6MG when I got my first MOD. Now currently at 3MG but there are rare instances when I do add some Octane Booster to a tank when I know ability to vape might be restricted.

Some people assume that low ohm coils mean high watts...thats wrong. I have the mods that go 100watt+ but never use that kinda power. I build .5ohm clapton, twisted and just single strand coils and rarely go over 25 watts or it heats up too much and burns my throat and a cough starts. I just built a .5ohm clapton in a Merlin running it at 23 watts, vaping 9nic juice and having a great vape, the only thing to look out for is you have to let your coil heat up a bit(ramp up time) before you take a vape so blow down slightly till you see a nice plumb of vape come out of the airflow then pull up.
It could be PG allergy or peppery nic also causing throat burn since I have neither I cant comment on those being a problem

I vape 0 mg nic, .85 ohm coil, and run my vape at 8-15 watts.

I think WTA means Whole Tobacco Alkaloids.

For sone people the plain nicotine isnt sufficient.

From your description i think your nicotine level is too low.
Some liquids can be harsher than others, but I agree you need higher nic.

You can't change the wattage of the t22 and I believe you are also locked into 1.5 ohm coils on that tank. However, the base is 510 threaded, so just about any tank will work.

Vaping can do this to new users. You can either spend a fortune believing all the high VG, low nicotine, "let's go blow massive clouds" theories or just get used to it.
Back in the day, many of us found vaping tricky with coughing and dry mouth and harsh throat hit. We acclimatized over the period switching from smoke to vapor.
The T22 is not a powerful e-cig, but is twice the power of many basic starters. Keep going, you'll get there.

I'm not bothered by clouds I just want it not to be painful which it doesn't on 6mg but don't Give me enough nicotine to help my cravings as I crave while vaping and really struggling I've been trying about 3 months now I was on 20 roll ups a day so think 6mg is not enough I have to smoke as well anything stronger than 6mg is actually painful

Yes, I was on up to 20 roll ups (or <15 on a good day) and and found vaping extremely difficult. It took me a few months to get it right. It took me 5 months in total to get clear of smoking.
6mg is not much at the power of the T22 and I expect you'll struggle with cravings.
Somehow, I feel you need to try a few different combinations of power and nicotine.
I started with 24mg at very low power (junk cig-a-like) and didn't succeed, but I did with a standard 7-8 watt e-cig using 18mg.
6mg wouldn't have done it for me. But I see your dilema.

Do you reckon increasin the power but staying at 6mg would help me and if it would could you recommend anything willing to give anything a try x

I'm not sure. I vape 6mg these days, but at 2-3 times the power of when I was using 18mg.
What you need to try and get a feel for is can you tolerate more power (in which case, go for it!) or is that as bad as using higher nicotine.
I think the harshness is more in the nicotine than the PG, but other people don't agree.
Have you tried vaping someone else's set-up? If you tried 12mg or even 18mg on a lower-power device, how would that be.
Your device vapes at 14 watts, but I couldn't deal with 14 watts for nearly 2 years.
In a way, I wonder if you would be better vaping higher nicotine at lower power, but as I hope I'm explaining, (badly)... you need to work out if it's vapor or nicotine that's the real problem. For me, it was the level of vapor.
My missus cannot tolerate vaping enough to do it more than in emergency. She uses 24mg at low power. She can't vape any of my 6mg at 15/20/25 watts.
