Try a different juice. I had used one brand that is popular in Switzerland that burns through pre-made coils in a half day. I'm not sure why, but switching to another brand fixed me right up and now I can go many days on one (smok) pre-made coil. The experience made me switch to a bigger RTA which I actually prefer now, and smoke all the sweet Swiss liquids with no problem.

I'll see if I can get hold of either of those tomorrow. Do you think I would have better luck with the .7 over the 1.2?
If you're gonna vape 70vg mixes alot i'd say go with a .7 But you're still gonna need a variable wattage mod
(also reading previous comment you said you can't adjust airflow which you CAN, it's the spining ring with tiny holes right below the glass). Last time i used my nautilus i had a .7 coil in it worked great at about 20 watts with 60vg juice so you should be okay if you don't go under/over the recommended wattage (results will vary ofc)

I didn't think I could alter it. If I try to spin the section with holes it just unscrews. Where am I going wrong please?

@BeardyMun you have a fixed wattage device. Innokin says it is "optimized" at 14 watts. There are no buttons or menu options on the T22 device that let you change the voltage (input) or wattage (output).

What that means is that no matter what coil or what tank you use, you will always get no more or no less than 14 watts.

That fixed wattage is too much for a brand new 1.8 ohm coil that's not primed to the point of saturation and broken in slowly.

Changing the tank and coil doesn't change the wattage. No matter what coil the device sees, it will always change the voltage to deliver 14w because that's what It's programmed to do.

If you lower the resistance with a factory made 1.2 or 0.7 ohm coil for the Aspire K3 tank, You're going to make the problem worse. The coil will just burn up sooner. The K3 is a smaller coil and doesn't come in a resistance high enough to take 14 watts brand new and un-primed.

You need to go back to the Prism tank, and prime and break in a new coil like I explained on page 2 of this thread. It's going to take time to prime it and break it in. A lot more than 10 minutes.

The Endura T22 and the Prism tank are designed to work together. Take the Aspire K3 back to the shop for a refund. They sold you a tank that's not designed for your device.

Good post Coastal. That's what I was trying to say in previous posts. The T22 isn't a universal box mod. It's part of a kit specifically designed by Innokin to almost exactly mimick smoking using the parts in the box. And it works as advertised. The coils are great, if as you said, are primed properly. You can see in my photo above the abundance of wicking cotton. That coil came out of my friend's T22- 14 days on it. I knew the prob the op was having was either caused by something the op was doing, a clone coil, or a malfunction somehow in the box, but didn't know how to explain it clearly enough I guess. Myself, my wife, and four friends have either T18 or T22. I'm a newbie, but I've been using this long enough to know what it can and can't do. None of us has ever had a leak. None of us has had a dud coil. If you keep it clean, prime wicks properly, and keep the tip clean, it will give good service. If you follow instructions for use, it helps too. 3 or 4 second easy pulls work best. Chain vaping gets it hot. DL gets it hot. If you use it like a cigarette, which is what it was designed for, you should have good luck.

Hi all,
First post here and pleading for a bit of help. Every time I change my coil I seem to burn it and it's winding me up.
Initially I used the Endura T22 standard shop-bought build so used the coil which came with that. Despite looking up online and chatting to the guys in a local vape shop every time I primed the coil it seemed to make no difference and instantly burned.
Then was not able to get anymore coils for that build so bought a new tank - the Aspire K3 with the Nautilis coil. The guy in the store I bought it primed it and it was great until it started tasting like burnt paper so I bought new coils. Primed (put juice in each of the small holes around the coil and was advised to drop a couple of drops into the top) then left it 10 mins or so before I vaped. Still tasted burned. Tried 2 coils and feeling like I want to throw my vape out the window.
I'm still using the Endura T22 mod with the Aspire K3 clearomiser.
The two juices I'm having issues with are Cuttwoods Sugar Drizzle at sixty pg forty vg. Sorry my keyboard is broken so can't get to the numbers lol. I'm also using Hangsen Spearmint at seventy pg thirty vg. Both are nicotine free.
Any help would be amazing. Thanks in advance!
Welcome and glad you joined.
If you are having trouble with only these two e-liquids, I would not use those e-liquids with your set up.
If you are having trouble with all e-liquids as far as you can tell, your Endura T22 mod may be faulty (too high watts/chip problem). The vape shop should be able test for this --exchange.

I was here once..... until I learned how to make my own. I remember thinking, "eff you, you coil making .......s. I will never make my own. So much hustle and unnecessary crap to deal with."

Reality, however, is quite the opposite - easy to make, easy to replace and you control things. Oh, yes, and it cost you near to NOTHING. So, now I am that jerk that can't relate, but to recommend - look into make my your own if you still haven't.

Although i can't disagree that it is a much cheaper alternative to build your own coils i can't say it's something for everyone, building dripping and all that jazz is mostly for enthusiast and people who vape to vape not to quit smoking. For these folks they don't want to mess around trying to wind a wire around a pole and all that they want to plug it in and make it work, it's probably even more true with older people they just want to stop smoking not become an electrical engineer :p

I'm on my 4th month atm and still using premade coils. I have an rba deck on standby from my big baby and a preinstalled coil in it only need cotton but then again i don't feel the need nor do i want to make my own coils too long for the same reward pretty much + you can't really make coils while you're working so for ease of mind people use premade and probably always will.

@BeardyMun, I'm curious to know if the problem you were having with the T22 was resolved.

You were pretty frustrated and I'd hate to see you give up.
So I went to my vape store and he put my tank on his mod, his tank on mine, did a few tests and felt the juice I was using was rubbish. I bought some new and a new coil and last night all excited I primed the coil with the new juice and put it all together and now have a solid red light on the fire button. I looked up the issue and apparently it's a dodgy coil.

Hmm... is there another vape shop that's convenient to you? I don't think the current guy is helping you at all.

If there isn't another shop, can you get Mr. Knucklehead to at least provide you with a new coil for the Prism tank that came with the T22?

I've bought one more coil for the Aspire tank which I will give a go. Feel like I'm throwing money away.

Ok, but just understand that regardless of the coil, the T22 will always deliver 14 watts to it. Whether you got the 1.6 or 1.8 doesn't matter--14 Watts is too much power and there is a high likelihood that the coil will burn out.

Install it on the base, then use your juice to fill all of the holes on the side and give it a few drops down the middle. Then fill the tank, close it up and then let it sit. An hour or so should be good.

When you're ready, take some un-powered draws. Two or three is good.

Then take two or three SHORT, GENTLE draws with button down (powered). Repeat the power off draws then the power on draws a few more times.

I know it sounds like a pain in the ...., but you have to baby that coil until it's broken in. And even after it is, you will still need to take one or three unpowered draws before you try to get a clean draw.

I can explain why you have to do this, but you do have to.

The new coil was the same - solid red light - I understand more with his post. I think I just need a new mod, one with variable wattage. Time to save up.

I've got no idea what kind of budget you have or what kind of mod you're searching for then, but what i can say is that i've been using an aspire evo75 (nx75) goes up to duh 75 watts lolz but does temp control and all that jazz had this baby for over a month and i love it small has a nice weight to it and a bright af screen. I've heard it costs about 100$ but i'm more than sure you can get it cheaper (i'm in canada and canadian prices are crap tbh)
