Welcome to ECF, Daisygirlie! Nice avatar! Audrey's so classy..Thinking about your budget, I just wanted to suggest yet ANOTHER alternative. There's a great website called ECBlend.com that sells amazingly cheap juice! Don't know if the pricing compares to DIY juice but here's ECBlend's pricing:
5 ml - $2.50
15 ml - $5.95
30 ml - $8.99
50 ml - $14.65
125 ml! - $35.00 I really liked their Cinnamon Peach and Orange Ripple, but their selection is truly mind-boggling! Probably the thing I love best about vaping...all the choices...God, you could shop until your fingers fell off, and you'd just scratch the surface!
I'll definitely have to check them out! I just loaded up at Good Prophets in the last week - all their 10 mls were $.99 - I bought 40 bottles, LOL!!!
Any[/U] photography tips you could help me with would be really appreciated! I live like five minutes walking from Lake Erie and there are so many incredible shots I really want to try shooting...especially night shots! But the more research I do on DLR, the more confused I get!
The camera looks great. The only (minor) issue is that almost all non-DSLR cameras seem to have LCD only shooting - no little eyepiece to look through. If you've taken pictures with your cellphone, you'll understand what I mean. I have a Nikon D50 DSLR that still has the standard viewfinder as well, and a small but great sanyo for everyday wandering that has the LCD only. My problem with it is that it has issues figuring out what you're trying to shoot sometimes - and even with hand stabilization the image will focus in and out on its own occasionally (but not always and it's not a reason to not buy it, it's just a small annoyance) - my fiance's similar camera does it as well. You just have to get used to holding the camera kinda in front of you so you're looking at the image of the photo you want to take, in front of the picture you're taking. With a viewfinder, you're simply looking at the scene you're shooting - I have no idea if that makes sense, lol! Again, *not* a reason to skip the camera - it looks really nice and Fuji makes great cameras with great service if you ever need it!
The camera's wide angle lens and panorama features are nice as well...and you can't beat the fps speed - you'd get some great action shots, especially at dusk when the fish start hopping or the bats come out to feed!
It has "intelligent flash" which means it knows when, where and how to fire off. It'll have a pre-flash, that's critical for night photos because you'll know whether or not you'll get the shot or if you need to change something around. Usually, with all the new point & shoots there's also a "night" option and that really helps as well! Also in your favor is that it's not the newest shiniest one out there, it's been out several months (almost a year I think?) so if there were any glitches in the beginning, they've been worked out by now

Don't let the huge lists of bells & whistles for all the cameras confuse you. When it comes down to it, anything last year and newer is great in point & shoot cameras (lots of changes about 18 months ago with megapixals and HD video capture) and most will do the same things. Some just do them better than others, and Fuji is an outstanding brand, as I already mentioned. Also - price the camera on Ebay - I got my 14mp, hd video Sanyo for $33 and it has some pretty cool features (not as nice as the Fuji but not as new either, lol). You can sometimes score big if you have the patience to wait and watch auctions, or just even check the buy it now prices (I don't have great patience, I did a buy it now, but it was still a great price!)

It'll be 10 weeks on Sunday! I'm so happy

Happy to have you here, hon..ECF really is a great place. Just about everybody I've met here is helpful, kind and has a slightly twisted, off-the-beaten-path outlook...you'll fit right in!
Rave already broke me in, ROFL! She's the one that sent me to the Leo board. I'm mostly over in the over 55 forum even though I'm underage
Message me anytime about camera stuff - it's great fun for me and I love talking about it!
