hi mate, i see that you have been on the forums for quite some time. i couldn't sleep so i decided to read up on these e-cigarettes. now i'm really intrigued. so i found some places as to where i could get the juice and accessories more or less locally.

also, i'm not sure if the starter kit i saw online is worth the S$150: here's a description

VV EGO T with passthrough built-in SummaryNew model of the VV Ego aka Variable Voltage with 3 different voltages at the tip of your finger! It is easy to change voltage just by pressing 5 times for each voltage. Technically, the new model is a "2 in 1", it can act as a passthrough(connecting the battery to a power source with USB cable which means unlimited vaping hours, great for those who stay at a computer most of the time). Need to go out? No problem, just detach the cable and continue your normal usage! The battery has a 900mAh power which can typically last you a day. It also has a battery indicator to notify you of the battery power left. Pretty sleek looking PV!

P.S. USB cable passthrough are sold separately.

3 different voltages:
Red color ~3.2v
Red+blueish ~3.7v
Blue ~4.2v

Each starter kit includes the following:
2 x atomizers
2 x 900mAh batteries
1 x charger adapter
1 x USB Charger
5 x cartridges
5 x atomizer head
1 x small pouch
1 x manual

i'd just like to know if there's any where i can get some good e-ciggs or vaping tools in SG. hopefully some durable product that i can mod and have more options in future. what do you personally use? and how much should i spend for a starter kit? also does this eGo-T accept 510 stuff, i'd like something that i can interchange parts with.

this is a long shot but i was also wondering if anyone can hook me up with a seller or some good products... sadly where we are located is another problem for noobs like me.

hope to hear from you soon. thanks! any help is appreciated! i have even contacted the juice sellers ;p TIA THANKS

150$ seems like a lot of money for starting out. I'd suggest an eGo kit in the 40$ range to start out. With 2 900mAh batteries I don't really think you're going to need them to be passthrough batteries. This is a good set up for us noobs in my opinion: http://www.mtnvapor.com/E-Turbo-Starter-Kit-ETSK.htm It's simple to use and fill with e-liquid and since it comes with ego batteries you can try out a ton of different things! Though you might want to pick up a few atties and drip tips so you can try different flavors before dedicating both cartos to them. The VV thing is neat but if you're a complete newbie then you might want to find out if you like vaping enough to invest so much money into it.... Just my opinion! If anyone wants to prove me wrong then I'd love that too, as I'm still learning quite a bit myself. :) I just know that I'm happy with my set up and it's a lot like the one I linked, and I did a review on mtnvapor earlier this week in the positive suppliers review subforum. Happy vaping and good luck!

Also, realized I got here from using the search function. Uh oh! I hope this is alright. xD

thanks guys, actually right now i got my eyes set on a lavatube instead. the thing for me is i don't want to spend like $50 and then go on to spend another $150 (SG currency). personally i'd rather get a decent setup then one that might leak and have issues, then get upset and spend more money.

anyways i was wondering for the dct with clear tanks, how long do they last? and if i don't finish the e-liquid in them can i keep it for later use or must i empty it out? or will it leak out the mouth piece!?

next is what ratio should i use for the juice? PG:VG is there a perfect one or is this personal taste again? does anyone do pure pg or pure vg? what is the norm here? 50/50?

and yep, i'm trying to get my stuff locally right now.... if i could i'd go and pick up the stuff myself but i don't think any seller is comfortable with that idea lol.

thanks thanks again!

IMHO, if u just need a starter kit, grab something cheap to start u off. U might not like Vaping in the first place, like some of my friends.
If and when u feel that u can kick the habit of smoking and want to seriously get into Vaping, aim higher. No point going one notch above a starter kit just to find that u don't like to vape or paying the ridiculous price for something made in Zhong Guo.
But then again, it's my own opinion.
Choice is yours.
And welcome to ECF. Hope you get to quit smoking like I did.
Cheers.

One man's meat is another's poison, it's a personal thing... what device the majority use, might not be suitable/comfortable for you... Its not like getting married, once you're done, you gotta stick to the commitment foreva...

vaping is different, you'll always yearn for a better gear/juice flavour, something that you like and feel comfortable using... Usually pple start with lower priced gear, and then the next thing you know, the whole new horizon opens up to you, and your bank account will start to decline for your new shopping list...

Just remember your original purpose of vaping, if it's for helping you quit analog cig, compare the benefits in the long run, then i believe your concerns about the initial cost will no longer be valid...

lol okaye, i have actually tried it at the office when my colleague brought one. he managed to quit smoking and vaping altogether. the thing is, his PV was quite pathetic and small and to me the vapor was too light. i do not mind spending slightly more to get a variety of options like VV as well as hopefully improved durability.

just wondering hows the SD KEYRING STEALTH PV? how long does the battery last? enought for 20-30mins? anyone has this and is it worth the $68 i saw it on a website?

okaye this hasn't been answered but its about juice ratios. how should i go about selecting the PG:VG ratios? is there a 'default' or a favourite? do people use pure PG or pure VG? or is the standard 50:50? help with this? what do you use for your juice ratios? the nicotine part is ok for me, i'll choose that according to my needs. :D

thanks guys

alright, i'll stop asking about the juice. i just thought if there was any ratio i should start with or if there was a 'default' ratio. if its dependent on my taste, then as you mentioned i'll just have to try it out. meanwhile i'll search for more info on this.

i'm still leaning slightly to the lavatube but quite interested in the stealth key ring for emergencies when i'm out too. anyone has a stealth key ring or a stealth device that i can get locally?

thanks!
