I'm Melissa, and I live in Suwanee, Georgia. I came across this website totally by accident through another site (freerepublic) and have been obsessed for two days!

I'm a 2+ pack/day ultra light smoker living with 3 rabid non-smokers. I smoke outside or in the garage, but if I'm in the garage someone will complain about the smoke - usually one of the teenage daughters. So I took the plunge and ordered a Dura-C from Janty, 5 apple carts and 2 bottles of apple Janty juice. I can't wait for them to arrive, but knowing he's been backordered, it may be awhile....so.....

A couple of questions.

1. Does anyone recommend another pen style that might come more quickly?
2. Assuming I get the Dura-C, which has 2 atomisers, should I order more? Are there generic atomisers that fit the Dura-C? For that matter, are there any generic parts that will work with the Dura-C, or another pen style you recommend?
3. Anyone in the Atlanta area know of kiosks or tobacco stores that sell the e-cigs (I'm thinking of Discover Mills, maybe).

I've read up on filling carts, replacing carts, making carts from poly or fish tank filters, juices, dripping, etc. I've watched video after video and am thrilled to be joining the digital world! My only experience with vaping, if you can call it that, was a hookah pipe in South Beach. We used a peach flavor, and I loved it! I'm thinking this is a little like that. I can't wait to get off the analogs and get some people off my back :D. My sister and mom are anxiously awaiting my purchase too.

Sorry so long, but after reading for two days, I could probably go on forever!!!

Hi Melissa Welcome to the forum. I would recommend www.electonicstix.com Jason there is really super. He sells the yeti, (510), which is compatible with your Dura C. These are both made by the same company. I have been analog free for the past several months, all thanks to the e cig.. While the Dura C has it's issues, it is an excellent choice. I used a 901B for several months until I got the 510. It blows the 901 away. The Dura C will most likely leak a little, but shouldn't be to bad. I live in Ohio, and Jason is in Utah. I have recieved my orders most times in 2 days, the longest being 3 days. He is currently out of the 510, but is taking pre-orders for $49.99 They should be in on 4/6/09, meaning you could be using your on or before 4/9/09. Good luck in your e smoking endeavor.

Hi Melissa,
I just got all my stuff within the past two to three weeks. But, after I ordered my first batch of things, I took a ride to PILOT travel centers and bought the NPRO there-- they carry the pen style and the smaller RN 4081. At the time, I thought I wanted ones that looked like real cigarettes, but now obviously, that doesn't matter to me.

Anyways, some people LOVE Npros and some people really dislike them. But, I find they're fine. I had a bad atomizer, and Mark sent one out and I received it in two days. I actually bought a few starter kits because I thought my husband would start with me, but he chose not to. So, I had extras anyways. If you DO go that route, though, I would buy them, go out to the car, and try it RIGHT then to make sure your atomizer works. If it works, it should last as long as any other atomizer and the parts are interchangeable with 801s if you get the penstyle and RN4081s if you get the cigarette style. And, if it doesn't work, take it right back in and exchange it. Pilot IS really good about customer service. They don't sell the liquid, just the cartridges and they are way overpriced but they come with five cartridges to start anyways And, the cartridges from the Janty WILL fit the 801 Npros.

I'm recommending them for convenience. I am not saying that is the best cig around. . but it was the most convenient when I wanted them right away!

Good luck!

hey Melissa. I live in Duluth. There used to be a kiosk at Discover Mills that sold something called a "Quantum Cig" I was going to get that, but they wanted 150 for their starter kit! Anyway, the last few times I've been, I haven't seen their cart there. Seriously though, as much as it sucks to wait...its so much cheaper to order online. The kiosk at the mall wanted 8.50+tax for a 12 pack of prefilled carts. (I have discovered that prefilled is NOT the way to go...) anyway, lots of sites sell 5 for 2.50. (blanks, which you can put whatever you want in.) I found this forum and am really glad that I didn't get ripped off at the mall :)

If you find any ecig places around here, let me know! And I can do the same.

I'll keep my eye out. I was thinking of Discover Mills because they have Tobacco World there and sell hookahs and other items. I thought maybe they sold e-cigs, but they didn't answer their phone today.

I'm just impatient and worried that Janty won't be able to fill the order for the Dura-C because they've been out of stock, but I solved that with the 501 from electronicstix (hat tip Rsmith!), which is shipping on Monday.:D

I did also find out from Jason that the prefilled carts that come with the 501 are standard Marlboro. I know that the "tobacco" flavors don't really taste like tobacco, and I'm heading straight for flavors, so I also ordered blanks and Peach as well.

Ooh yeah, I forgot about that place. I've never been in there, as I visit the mall with my kiddos....but maybe I could see, next time I go. I got a 901 from e-smokey treats. I LOVE it and it only took 3 days to get here. I ordered liquid from somewhere else, because esmokey was out of menthol, and my husband had to have menthol, lol. BUT esmokey got some new stock in, so I'll probably get it from there next time (seems like liquids can be hard to come by some days)

Anywho, if I find anything else out, I'll let ya know.
