Hello, I've just noticed I can only post here for now but in fact I need opinions on two of The Perfumer's Apprentice DIY flavours, if possible. I was thinking of buying tobacco Absolute but it seems there may be unexaplained issues about that flavour, I'm not certain. Simultaneously, Linda, with the company, told me her current best tobacco flavour was, in her opinion, the M-series. Does anybody know anything about those so that he/she can give a valiud (as possible) opinion? Thanks.

And, of course, I'm Jorge, from Portugal, and I'm very glad to make your acquaintance. This forum loooks like some kind of gold mine when compared to other forums! Well, I wish you all a great day. Cheers! :)

Hi and welcome! I don't know what M series is. Flavourart (an Italian company) has lots of tobacco flavors. Tobacco Absolute is extremely strong.

I recommend you get 5 non-spammed posts or replies and New Members. Then about an hour later you should be able to post anywhere on ECF and ask in the DIY section of ECF

Hmm, I see... In fact, I have four tobacco flavours from MistEliquid (UK), originally from VaporWest and I'm still trying to figure them out. Ankara tasted like a nice, not sickening, Oriental, but that's not really my cup of tea; Virginia was ok, maybe, but with a little remedy hint to it? I don't know, I'm letting it rest for a week to see how it feels (that'll be tomorrow - or today, if I feel one day won't make a difference). And there were two more as well, can't remember the name right now, one was more or less similar to the Virginia but a little sweeter, I think and there was some other with a slight, just slight thankfully, menthol aftertaste (mint would have been good). Ok. Other than that, I got three flavours from Flavourart today (they do take long but things finally arrived and excellently packaged): Latakia, Tuscan Reserve and Mellow Sunset (they told me these weren't sweet-ish or vanilla - yuk! - filled). I'll still have to see what they're like. I must say I also got the Bitter Wizard just in case, since I'm so tired of all this weird sweetness in tobacco flavours.
Regarding, TPA's flavours, thanks a bunch for the advice! Maybe they aren't that good after all. I heard wonders about the Tobacco Absolute and then Linda told me the m-series was their best tobacco flavour at the moment. But if people feel this way about their flavours, even their actual tobacco flavours, then I guess I'll wait because I don't want to make a mistake. We'll see... Thanks again! :)

Welcome Jorge!

I use that tobacco absolute and have made some good tasting juice with it.

It is very potent. I dilute it down to 10% in pure grain alcohol before I use it as a flavoring and even then the amount required is small.

Some folks use it by itself, some add Ethyl Maltol, and some, like myself, use it in combinations with other Flavour Art tobacco flavorings.

But, there is only one way to know if you will like it. (And it will not be by what my sense of taste says, nor anyone else's.)

I guess. Thank you too! Btw, you never hrad of the m-series?

Other than that, I know the Perique Black well (I know it was mentioned before) - it tastes something like a green tobacco leave, I guess. It's rather pleasant if you drip tip it, in fact. But saying it's harsh and so forth, as they put it, it's a plain lie.
