hi does any one know how to reduce nic level of a 24 mg ready made liquid. i make my own normally but have a load of 24 and 18 mg of oil given to me i vape between 1.1 and 9mg of nic. i know by adding vg or pg or both cand dilute it but not sure how much . I've looked on a site but can't work it out. if anyone can help it would be much appreciate.

1.1mg - 9mg. is a big window.

If you have a bottle of 24mg (say 30ml.)and dilute it with an equal amount of base (30ml.)the nic level drops to 12mg (half)

Now if 12mg is stiil too strong you can dilute it to 6mg by adding an equal portion of base (60ml.)

Of course you will lose a lot of flavour diluting it that much.
I use PG to dilute as it carries flavour best. Cheers.

What I don't follow is your range of "1.1 to 9mg", that's a huge variance and I've never seen anyone using a fraction for mg.

you can also dilute the liquid by getting the same flavour as a 0nic, or a compatible flavoured 0nic that works with the current flavour, using them the way hit described... that way you can keep the flavour.

Well I was kinda in the same boat when I started out.... bought nic levels way too high and couldn't handle it. What I did is purchase some 0 nic in the same flavors so that when I cut it I didn't sacrifice the flavor. I just did some trial and error until I got it down to where I could vape it without choking my guts out... don't know what I actually ended up with nic-wise but it was vapeable and that was good enough for me. Now I generally just buy 6 but also buy 8 and I mix all sorts of stuff up and try it out. If I don't choke, hey good 'nuff.

(and do separate bottles for them and for me)

Like you, I was mixing my store stuff as I couldn't get a "happy with" flavour, then made the jump, worried at the time that I might have trouble as it seems complicated to get into (and expensive to start)... it didn't take long before I wanted to slap myself.

I now have a box with over 70 bottles of recipes or straight flavours now, been able to sort the preference of everyone at home, and have better flavours than store stuff now, as much at hand as I just remake/refill as needed.

For every 100$ I've spent on DYI, is worth multiple dozens of bottles' worth as opposed to maybe 6-7 of store stuff that's so full of sweeteners that it destroys coils within days... whereas the DYI stuff, the coils last me 3+ times longer (some over a month).

Same with coils... took the time to learn and get them right, and now it's crazy how much better my coils are compared to the pre-made stuff, and it only takes a few minutes to rebuild them.

It's doing the leap that seems like too much of a jump, but once you do it, you realize that it's actually not that hard at all and you save so much money, it's crazy. (and can end up being a fun hobby)

I've only been vaping for a month but after buying juice for one week I knew I had to get into DIY. For me, store juice is too sweet and too expensive. It's so easy to whip up a few bottles and throw it in the juice box to settle. I absolutely love dragon fruit, strawberry and sweet cream together. For the cost of one bottle of premium juice I can make 40 bottles of delicious juice right in my kitchen.

I'm sure I'll order online because going to Toronto is (almost) out of the question. Have you been there lately??? Meh... that's all I have to say (and I was born there lol).
