Post it here!! Other Trek fans are interested too! I confess, as much as I love Kirk and Co (and I really do, I just haven't seen so many of the shows)... I'm really more of a ST:TNG fan. And I also really enjoyed Voyager, being out there in the Delta quadrant reminded me of TOS, going "where no Man had gone before" so to speak... Not a huge fan of DS9 though.

You know, I thought of another thing that might interest you. Cartomizers. You can use them in a tank, if the cartomizer is "punched" -- it has holes in it -- but you can also use them all by themselves, with a driptip stuck in the end. I really prefer them, to dripping; it's just easier, you don't have to re-apply the liquid quite as often -- a cartomizer holds anywhere from about .7 to .9 of a ml, depending on the length of the cartomizer, standard or XL -- and it's all pre-made. So it's sort of like dripping in slo-mo.
It also offers a tighter draw, if you like that; to me, it seems more realistically like the draw from a cigarette; if you use a really narrow drip-tip, you *really* get that effect. They're not costly either; I just ordered a 5pk from desertvapes.com, for $4.25 -- best price I've found on those "plain" (stand-alone) cartos, though I found a different site has a much better price on the "punched" kind. I think they're supposed to last about 2-3 wks, though the way I use them, I generally get tired of a particular flavor before the carto actually wears out, so it sits for a while, dries out, and I just toss it at some point. ROFL!! I'd totally forgotten about Enterprise; shows you what I thought of that one, I guess.
It surprises me though, that you ranked Voyager above TNG; a lot of folks seem to ridicule Voyager for some reason, or all they can think of is what's-her-name in that catsuit, but I loved the whole premise of the show; it really did remind me of that "none have gone before" idea of TOS, which I thought brought back a lot of the mystery and intrigue of TOS. Also loved the interpersonal dynamics -- that show displayed a LOT more humor than any of the other STs, IMO -- Paris rubbing everyone the wrong way, and that holographic doctor was priceless -- and he's about the only one I've seen with a *lot* more acting work since then. Mulgrew may have retired, not sure. Hey, I actually saw "Q" recently; it was either on "Criminal Minds," or it might have been "Perception," the new Eric McCormack show.But when I hear the theme music of TNG playing from one of the TVs in the house, I just have to run and see if it's an episode I've seen; I missed the first couple seasons completely, when Tasha Yar was a crewmember. It was right at the end of my drinking, so even if I'd seen those early seasons, I likely wouldn't remember them.

I tried to get into Voyager, I really did, but it never grabbed my attention. For me, it ties for last place with DS9 and Enterprise.
I respect that you don't wish to get into rebuilding, but quite honestly you don't need to as long as you're satisfied with your vape.
You see, despite being 46, I'm very much a 20th Century American, I want plug and play, I want disposable-replacable, and I want to be able to drip, because I need to be able to test combinations.
The "building" aspect of it, is more 19th Century American, "What they don't have one? Well, I'll build one, ... Out of this, and that, using, ..."
Too much work.

Actually I think the rebuilding mindset is more of a rebellion against consumerist junk -- the 20th cent mindset seems to be very much "nevermind quality, let's make quantity and they can throw it away and buy another when it wears out". Which not only creates a mountain of garbage we can't get rid of (because there is no such place as "away"), but has the potential to produce some really crappy merchandise. When you build your own coil, it doesn't just "burn out" in a few days or a week, it can last for months; one guy in the kayfun lite thread had a coil that I think lasted for 3 yrs of use.
But there's a place for both, I think. I do like cartos for certain things, and those are disposable. I also love my self-made coils in my kayfuns, because they provide a vape which is unparelleled by anything else I've tried. Obviously those who are new to vaping are more interested in important things like how they can use vaping to substitute for smoking, and that really is more important than who can be the biggest hardware geek.
But after a while, a lot of vapers become dissatisfied with factory-made vape gear, and that's when building your own coils can provide a whole new reason to keep vaping, because the experience becomes that much better.Andria
