Hi-res or low res whats the deal?

Well to start I have a Lavatube VV and i have a tubetank and a smoktech tank. I know i can use low res tanks and it will drop the voltage for me just fine. For these which doesnt really seem to be an issue.

It came with a AW IMR 18650 battery stock and i find that the battery lasts me appx 8 hrs with the 1.5ohm cartos.

It really irritates me. I wanted LONG life out of my pv. I work long days at work and constantly am on the go. I find myself turning down the voltage on my pv to keep the battery going all day long. I am not sure if this helps or not really.

I read somewhere that low volt chews the battery faster. Is this true? Anyone care to write me a novel about wtf this is all about ?

P.S. If this is what i am to expect is there a mod that stacks batteries in parallel to up the amps to extend battery life? I dont have time for this crap.

To boot usps decided to ship my extra batteries that I ordered to the east an hour the wrong way instead of me seeing them today I can look forward to another day of fighting urges. F the usps. Sorry been one of those days.

have you tried going for a carto with more resistance in it, should help with the battery life.
ie a 2.5ohm instead of a 1.5ohm, wont hit as hard also.

I have not tried any other cartos. This is my first real mod. I have used npro's and ovale elipse prior to this and both were crap to be honest compared to this lavatube. This is ok with a 1.5 ohm @ 3.6v. I was hoping ofr a magical solution like oh, use 2.5 ohm @ 3.7 you'll get the same hit and the vapor will be just as well. Oh well I dunno dreamin I guess.
