well the usually requested plan is to reduce nicotine levels to zero.

so...try using 12 or 6 or maybe get some 0 and see how that all works for you, with a plan of eventually using 0mg.

i think you should be successful! try then vaping every other day...or only in evenings, etc, weekends, etc

GOOD LUCK! YOU"RE ALMOST THERE!

I weened myself off of everything for a long time. Definitely long enough that I didn't need it anymore. Went out drinking with friends one night, smoked a cig and bam....full time smoker again. (That's why I'm vaping again.)

It definitely can be done. I kept lowering my nic level until I was vaping 0 nic, then dropped it all together.

Good luck!

I've actually weaned myself down to 0mg nicotine over the last few weeks. The nicotine craving is gone, but I'm still vaping for the flavor and occasionaly I'll have some 6mg or 12mg just for a hit but these hurt my throat really quickly.

I also have a friend at work who vapes occassionally. A 15ml bottle lasts him a few months.

I haven't stopped, but I have a better idea of what I want out of vaping in general.

That's what I would recommend you do. Get down to 0-nic and see how you feel from there. You may keep a bottle on hand for a vape now and then.

I began at 36 mg X 50-60 ml per week and and now down to 2 mg X 15-20 ml per week. Was supposed to quit at New Years, didn't and it's no big deal. Right now I believe I'm more addicted to the hand to mouth oral action rather than the nicotine. Can go for hrs comfortably without a vape.
I first began by going out on short trips without my PV. As for nicotine levels it took me a little over a yr to come down to my present nic level.
I have a few friends that have successfully quit vaping but they still have occasional cravings. Have a few friends that only vape at social occasions and others that only vape on weekends. Occasionally someone will pop in here that has successfully quit.
Best of luck.

A friend gave me a little trick she used. She cut straws into cig lengths. Soaked small pieces of cotton in peppermint or wintergreen oil and stuffed them in side. When she wanted a little something she'd "puff" on those a few times. She gave me one and if I weren't going to vape anymore I'd do that instead of a toothpick or tic tac.
