Welcome @Shanda

The technology gets better every month. I'm sure there's something out there for you. It won't be from a brand store though. Most of the e-cigarette business is just greedy people selling bad products for too much money.

What have you tried?
I tried the original V2 and others that "looked like cigarettes ") and then went to the ego. It's been more than 3 years so I can only imagine how things have improved. I'm smoking approx 1.5 packs/day and need to quit (both parents died of copd)

Welcome, you should NEVER EVER try any e-cig that looks like a cigarette, first of all they are a joke, expensive and useless, second thing if you will vape and hold the e-cig just the same as u hold the cigarette u'll not change the mental habit of smoking.

Try more powerful devices, there are tons of them, and they are really effective.

You can try the cig look alikes. Each person has their own style. Just don't let someone talk you into something expensive that you don't need. There is a predisposition here for people to try to get people to get one of those expensive fog machines when all they need is a simple e cig.

Yeah, the looks like a cig ecig was when they first came out. Wouldn't go back to it. Not looking for one you can hold like a cig either.

Me personally started of simple 1100mah ego pen, just to see if it feeds the "smoking hunger", bought 18mg nicotine juice to it and realized that its working and i don't want to smoke.
So if you didn't know if the strange feeling in your chest when you want to smoke goes away after vaping now you know, it does.

Right after couple weeks i bought KangerTech NEBOX (60w), pretty cool thing i still use it from time to time but duh i decided going for fog monsters :D Now i own Wismec RX200, Wismec RX200S, SMOK H-Priv 220 and KangerTech Nebox, i use ALL of them by the mood, obviously my favorites are RX200 and RX200S.
Oh yeah and the juices i use are 3mg now, NEBOX is best for 6mg.
I could recommend you getting NEBOX because its very comfortable and small, but it has minuses such as non adjustable airflow and pain in the .... with coil building in case you build the coils yourself.
Because you're a woman i guess you want something small, i think Pico mod is just for you.

Yep, in my world V2 wouldn't even be in business. Products designed to make offensively large profit regardless of efficacy. They're not the only ones. *sigh*

Hi and welcome.

I suspect we can all tell you what worked for us but I also suspect jwilkers post above has made sure we will all be reluctant to do so in case we are accused of trying to get you to overspend.

Me I'm a Scotsman who smoked for 50 + years who has a daughter who got me into the idea that not smoking might be a possibility for me...and I'm not ashamed of that.

She bought me an epipe which worked but because it had a plastic tank the tank threads failed on me quickly.

I was in Spain when this happened and took myself down to the Vape Shop in Fuengirola to find myself dealing with a young lady in her mid 20s - who listened to what I had to say in my fractured Spanish, who recommended I get an iStick 30w, a Nautilus Mini and a packet of 1.8 ohm coils. Didn't cost a lot but vaped just fine and didn't require complicated input from me.

It worked. I haven't smoked since 17/10/2015 - maybe that doesn't sound that long ago...however I bought my first pack of 10 cigs in late 1960, was a comitted smoker by 1966, was on three packs a day of unfiltered Senior Service by 1974 and smoked a pipe solidly from 1974 until last October.

What a testimony. Well done. :)

I'm looking at this setup and a few extra batteries....thoughts?Aspire Premium Starter Kit (Nautilus Mini Starter Kit)
VaporHQ are normally quite good but that's a disappointing price for a rather basic (and old) product. Aspire like to see themselves as a level up from other brands (Kanger and Joyetech) but they're not really. Their prices in the UK are way off the mark. I'd consider something else.

I agree with the AIO. I also think that the one that you posted appears to be a nice model but very pricey. Added to the fact that you may need two. You will always want to have a back up battery on hand so keep that in mind. I started with an ego twist style and ended up having to carry three with me at all times. On another thread, someone posted the new AIO Pro C which has a removable battery. This would be a nice choice...one set up with two batteries to start would be great until you see if it sticks for you.
