Yeh its normal. I got lucky though. I get insomnia a lot so I spent about 24 solid no-sleep hours reading here and watching youtubes then found my kit, ADV juice and, still, go-to vendor after that all in the same place with great shipping. Then, like a fool, while happy with what I had, I kept on reading and spent bundles mostly on what turned out to be yuck juices and flavorings to DIY. What a waste when I had already found what I'm still happy using eight months later. I still do DIY also but also still buy my very first juice ever tried. I've learned not to jump on every new thing that comes along and not get tempted by anyone's "Oh this is so awesome" taste buds. I'm still here reading but mostly to help instead of buy. I love this community and the caring support it gave me. I try to pay it forward.

LOL I never heard anyone say they were "Lucky" to have insomnia a lot! Anyway, I'm like you and just about everyone else here. Spend too much time here reading everything I can and wishing for that next great thing I can't live without... Strange addiction, this vaping..

It's ok to be a non-smoking insomniac with OCD tendencies. It's good to have a place to go for information and support. Whatever it takes to keep on getting better. Enjoy the new adventure.

Sure... Mr E Liquids Grey Matter... nice, neutral, smokey flavor... not like food or tobacco really... just that feel of smoking without bad tastes. Impossible to pin down a flavor or describe and can't DIY it so have to keep buying. I have about 25 different Mr E juices and they're all good. His Menthol can't be touched anywhere else.. I've tried to do that myself too but he uses something special. I add it to Grey Matter for a change.

I read or I'm busy doing something like cleaning a house, or yard, dog or cat, horse or barn, vehicle or trailer and so I am on ecf waaaaay more than I need to be anymore for downtime, and vaping time and learn something time too because it jumps keep getting posted on here something interesting, funny, new, aggravating sometimes and very helpful. I've made several good buys off classifieds too. Kinda glad most items are overpriced in Classifieds or I'd have more stuff than I need and I already have more stuff than I need except I could stop shopping for a couple years and have something still to vape and vape with I'm pretty sure! Maybe need some AW batteries or nic juice

Hi - I'm new to vaping and so glad I found this forum. But in the past 9-10 days, I've spent almost 3 whole days reading here and googling, watching you tube vids, etc. Is this normal for a newbie?

There are already many *excellent* replies to your perfectly sensible question - but I will add... I ALSO spent about about 3-4 days "full-time" on many blogs and forums when I was first tipped onto the 'vaping' thing by my brother, about 2 months ago. Fortunately I was on 'holidays' at the time! It is definitely the way to go - do your research, and find out what might work for you. This is quite a complicated project / hobby, BUT it is so worth being guided by other, more experienced users. You will save time and money by learning from the extensive knowledge available on this excellent site. Good luck with your journey! I am so happy with my present 'Vaping' gear - after 35 years as a stinky stupid 'analogue' smoker! Oh - I'm using a Provari V.2 and a ZAP. Wonderful.

Just found this forum last Thursday & spend quite a bit of time here already. Lots to read & learn about. Almost information overload. (paraphrasing a recent TV commercial,,,,"We want more, we want more !!!) Only regret is that I didn't find it BEFORE buying my first kit.
