I have been vaping for about 2 months now. Using a Endura T18 and its going good. Dropped down from 9mg to 6mg and noticed im vaping more. Doing this to rid myself of nicotine but am unsure about what im doing. Should i vape when i dont have a craving? Have noticed that since i am vaping more with the 6mg, when i go to bed and relax i get sort of a body buzz for lack of a better term. Have gotten chest pains ( lungs ) i assume, as well. Switched from Nicorette gum as i was starting to chew more then was healthy lol, love the cinnamon flavor. Well thats all for now i guess, got advise, i will take it. TY

Sounds like maybe to much nic from chain gaping wouldn't worry to much. The heavy chest feeling could be a reaction to the pg/VG might try different juice with different amounts of pg. If memery serves me correctly pg gives that heavy chest feeling to some people. Could go to the search and type in heavy chest should take you to the thread.

Welcome and glad you joined. Suggest you do what you feel is good for your body. I tend to lean toward the lower nic and vape more frequently or longer school of vape.

Hi there Azazal
Back when I smoked I remember hearing or reading about the fact that smokers were supposed to each have their own personal nic level. The idea was associated with switching to lighter cigs and ending up smoking more. It sounded plausible to me given my experience.
My way of judging my nic intake is the feeling in my brain that a headache is on the horizon then I know it's time to put the vape down.

I think it was more or less proven. Light cigarettes were a 'con' as many users soon found out.

Thank you for all your replies. I have learned more in one day here then all my research ( most of which conflicts ) in the last couple months. I am however now concerned lol. After reading a list of symptoms ( link provided by BrotherBob. According to the article of Nicotine delivery efficiency:
We can calculate the total amount consumed thus:
a. A vaper uses 6mg strength (0.6%) and consumes 3ml of refill liquid per day.
b. The total amount of nicotine in the refills is 6mg x 3 = 18mg.
c. The delivery efficiency of the hardware varies but is on average 50%.
d. The vaper receives 9mg of nicotine per day (although we don't know, with this calculation at any rate, if the bioavailability of vaped nicotine and smoked nicotine is equivalent).
e. If all other factors were equal (which they hardly ever are), this equates to around 11 cigarettes per day @ 0.8mg per cigarette delivered.
d. Almost always, vapers need a much higher level to begin with (smoking creates tolerance to nicotine, which reduces in proportion to the time since cessation of smoking).

I use an Endura T18 which has a 2.5 mil tank. My nicotine refill is 6mg. After going from 9mg to 6mg i have doubled my juice intake to about 4 tanks a day or 10ml of refill liquid. Which to me seems like a lot but i keep getting different sums when i try to calculate how many cigs @ 0.8mg. In short, I think i ingest way more nicotine no then when i smoked but cant nail it down to how much. When i smoked, I smoked about 15-17 cigs a day. I think i'm way past that in terms of nicotine now. Worrisome to say the least. Thanks for listening lol. Would someone be able to help me calculate how much nicotine im ingesting pls .... im lost lol
