Got this interesting dripper from Neovapetek called the Venturi. Similar design to the Cats dripper. Still playing around with some builds but so far it's performing pretty good. When I get home from work I'm going to pop this bad boy on the MCR Hybrid adapter.

Looks really nice Stike! I like the afc. Are the Wells deep enough so that leaking isn't an issue?

Thanks msssam. Yeah, it has a pretty deep well. the nice thing about is that if you accidentally over drip it will just leak inside of the atty between the chimney and top cap since the air flow comes from up top hidden inside the fins. It will pretty much only leak out if it's upside down. The air flow is a nice open draw too when it's wide open and doesn't feel restricted at all since it's coming from the top.

You hit the money with this one, I found out just this week about the Venturi. I am waiting on their next batch to try it out but had a question about dripping, is it difficult to remove the topcap and venturi chamber to allow for direct dripping on the coils? and how much e-liquid does it hold before it impedes the airflow slots?

I think this is a great design for an rda, one of the top caps seems very Omega-ish another is Tobh-ish but in actuality the top cap is almost unessecary for the "function" of this RDA.

Great pics BTW stirke

Thanks GU! This was designed to only drip from the drip tip or bell. Which is the way I drip anyway. I've gotten used to dripping without removing the top cap because it started to annoy me. :p The Chimney piece doesn't thread on to the base and is held down by the top cap as you screw it down. Unscrew the top cap a little and turn the chimney with your DT to adjust the air flow. Sorry, I'm not exactly sure how much juice it can hold and I didn't count how many drops I put in but does hold a nice amount.

Great info, hopefully I snag one up. I only meant to ask if the venturi section would impede you from dripping through it or if you had to remove both to drip but you answered it perfectly. i have gotten spoiled with the Origen and usually dump almost .5ml in it through the drip tip, sometimes I forget and accidentally do the same thing in my Quasar or Tobh and have to use the dropper to siphon some back off the deck before I have a mess on my hands.

Did you get the one with the Au plated Brass or Au plated SS?

Mine came with AU plated Brass but their sending the SS to everyone next week for free due to the issues of people breaking them with big builds.

On the road for work, and this is all I brought with me.....The GP Piccolo is the PERFECT travel companion (as is the Microstick)!! I got my 3 Spheroids with me; some GVC, Boba's, and Bounty Hunter......vaping away in my hotel room here in Biloxi MS, the Piccolo is performing excellent!

Very nice, Strike! How are you liking the Strata? I recently got a P/S 26650 which I absolutely love (my first intro to 26650 mods and I am definitely impressed!), but I am toying with the idea of getting another P/S 18500 with a Strata on top.....

I haven't perfected the strata yet. Due to the way the air flow works I haven't gotten it to Vape the way I want it to. I've known this before getting it and saw it as a challenge. I haven't had time to mess with it lately but will mess with it again this weekend.

Cool, good to know.....thanks buddy! Yeah I saw Scott Bonner's review of it and he mentioned that it can take some "unorthodox" methods of coiling/wicking to get it to vape well.....I saw some videos on Youtube of people doing "stretched out" coils on the Strata (there's a name for this that escapes me ATM) and that seems to work pretty well.....

I guess I will give it a go at some point......seems like a fun little project anyway (once you figure it out!) :)

I have not had the XXIX long enough to provide a balanced opinion, and to be honest I have not even disassembled the XXIX switch yet. The V2.5 switch is hard to beat when it comes to feel, action and durability.

Yes, the switches are interchangeable :)

I've flirted with the idea of purchasing an XXIX for a while now, but haven't pulled the trigger. I'm not sure why, but I'm just not into the engraving and the hole on the switch button and the idea of a hybrid adapter instead of a top cap. I know that people love them and I wish only the best for James and would love to support an American modder, but I just don't think that it's for me. I saw a good deal on some used 18350 XXIX and Surfrider tubes recently and bought them. I didn't have any copper 20x1 threaded switches and top caps to pair with the XXIX so I purchased a Versa switch and top cap that arrived today. I hope I'm not offending anyone with my new Frankenmod:

I also tried the Versa switch and top cap on my GP Paps v3 LUX tube, but I don't think that you guys are ready for that yet.
