They certainly look to be the real deal, meaning the company themselves. And they are selling at least two mods which haven't been cloned yet (JA Victoria and Bamboo).

Yea that's true, but probably need to call them to make sure...and even then unless you have the real deal it's hard to tell the difference with some of the replica's that were made. I really want a V2 so I'll call them tomorrow morning and post my findings.

hehe, you're in the opposite situation as me.
i actually love the locking mechanism of the paps v2 (except that it's not reverse threaded) and v3 switches. that's what made me get the mcr-101.

i can't stand not being able to lock a switch easier with a flick since i'm always in weird situations that require me to lock my mods. i also treat my mods like crap and throw them around in places where objects can set the mod off (i like a really light and smooth throw).

the only reason i sold my xxix/surfriders is the lack of a quick locking feature. it had the smoothest threads out of any mod i've ever used and the mod was just great in everyway. perfect keep at home next to my computer mod for me.

Nailed it. The flicking action of the locking ring is ment to be just that and for your application.

@Tbev, many mods with a locking ring end up locked due to the rotation when firing. I find it happening fast less by using the ring finger knuckle instead of pinky firing. Funny left handed vapors don't have the issue.

@crazyarmsoutofcontrol, thanks for the thoughts on the Odin. Looks great man. If you get a chance or muh buddy Strike, or anyone lol, may I bother you for a under the hood top view?
I'd love to compare it with my Origens. I'd also love to see the 510 pin top view as well. Only to see if bottom feed modding is an option. Thanks in advance.

I don't own an origin but the performance and flavor from this atty is definitely up there with the best of them. For the price it wouldn't hurt to pick one up to see for yourself. If you don't like it I don't think you'll have a hard time selling it in the classies. Sorry I couldn't fully answer your question but hopefully someone here has both and can give you a good comparison.

Copper Anatolian w/Prometey V2 in Hybrid mode. I've had the Anatolian for 3 days now, and it's already starting to get a nice patina....I probably won't let it get totally dark and will polish it this weekend....

I own one, Bill. It is a nice dripper that gives excellent flavor. You just have to be careful when you drip into it though....If you over-drip even a tiny bit, the juice will come straight out the airholes....this is due to the fact that the top of the airhole is flush with the build deck.....

But other than that they are great...I think you'll like it!

Love the Prometey. Have GVC in it right now and the flavor is great! Do I like the Heron (and Spheroid for that matter) better? Yes, i do, but the Prometey is very nice!

Odin beats origin for flavor imo. It's close though.

Yeah I need to get an Odin.....I am hearing nothing but good things from you guys! The 3 RDA's I use right now that give the best flavor are the Origen V1 (have 2 of them), Veritas and the Quasar.....Hopefully I can add an Odin to the mix soon!
