Oh. My. God. I dropped my entire Dicodes 2830 and FeV in a sink full of water this morning when I was getting ready for work. I don't think I've ever moved faster in my life than when I snatched it out. Fortunately after a quick inspection and a little toweling off it was totally fine. Somehow no water got into any of it anywhere. Not even the atty. no idea how because it was like totally submerged for a second. The vaping gods were looking out for me today. Seriously.

Holy. Moly. Frioles.

I probably would have fainted before I could have saved it, thank goodness, so happy you made it out alive, along with the 2380 (water in the FeV wouldn't have nearly been that big of an issue, lol)

I was so scared lol. I paid too much for this thing to see it drown. Also, this thing is still occasionally shooting super hot air out of the battery end. I noticed I had it in power boost 4 but I dunno if that's it since that whole chart in the manual is in German and I'm not really sure what it does. I have the FeV on it still. 1.3 ohm coil, nothing fancy. I really have no clue what's causing it.

So anyone have any idea why the battery in my dicodes 2830 randomly heats up so much when I take a drag on it? Sometimes I just feel hot air coming from the vent, today I felt the body of the mod get warm/hot. I'm put a 26g single coil on it today, resistance reads 1.1 ohms. It did it with the flash e vapor and this coil, and also the taifun gt2 with a Clapton coil at .9 ohm. I'm running it at 20 watts with efest 3100 mah 20 amp or some blue Samsung batteries. Both kinds of battery have heated up.

I have not used the dicodes or efest batteries but the Samsung 25r's run cool for me at 25w

Possibly a connection issue with either battery to terminals or bottom cap to main tube

Would try cleaning all with isopropyl alcohol

Last would try a 510 heat sink to see if atty heat is transfering

If that don't work, time to get onto dicodes as its not right
