Not bland at all, Nice going on getting the new material, and great setup overall.
Looks it. I have 3 Boxers and envy that Alumalon finish. Nothing wrong with mine but oooooooo.Is that mod covered in Velure?

Alumylon is a matte grey finish of a mixture of plastic and aluminum powder. Stronger than the standard offering it also has a more grainy, sandy appearance. While it is a stronger material than the nylon offering it is also less flexible.
The nice thing about Alumylon is how it feels. The extra grit from the aluminum powder makes it feel more like stone than nylon.
WOW, love that Raven's Moon. I went to their site and saw the Mokume Gane and the Mammoth Tooth ones also....love the materials! Just like William Henry knives and such.
