So can you guys tell me, or better yet convince me why the WAE is better than what the P3 is promoted to be?

I'm interested in both, just scored my first provari, the 2.5, and absolutely love it. Just wondering why it's seems to be a better choice to most people. (The WAE). As much as I like the provari, I'm really leaning towards the P3, but would like to leave my options open.

Anyone? :)

i own neither.. but.. the WAE II is a DNA 30 mod.. so.. its the standard Evolve functionality, and 30 watts, where the P3 is 20 watts, and their UI is single button, multi function ( not hard, but not as simple as Evolve's one screen shows all approach )

I've looked at both and currently have a pair of 2.5s and a pair of vaporsharks(dna30 mods same board as the wae). Its gonna come down to how you like to vape I think. I can tell you that since getting my first DNA mod I haven't touched my provaris. The p3, while it has some cool features and Great options and is a user friendly device. It just falls short of the power I vape at. The 5amp limit and 20w Max is only good enough for 2 of my Toppers. the DNA mods let me vape with Just about anything I want they not only offer 30W but they also have a 10a max. Don't get me wrong I'm not bashing provari. I haven't sold mine.... yet...
For a reason. They will take a beating, smile and keep on trucking. And if you vape out of an rta it's all you really need and then some. The p3 is an expense I just can't justify when I can and did get another DNA or sx mod for less, not to mention I prefer a much smaller form factor than the provari, even the mini, offers.
But again Nothing away from provari, they are fantastic indestructible smooth devices, it's all about what is going to service you better.

Couldn't have said it better myself.

As you know, I haven't used my P2.5s since acquiring the WAE and now Vapor Flask.

To add: Although I am currently vaping the WAE at 18.5-20w there might come a time when I want to go over that 20w. That wouldn't be possible with the P3 but would with the WAE. I like having that wiggle room.

Another consideration is weight. The difference in weight is night and day between the WAE and the P2.5. Especialy when paired with an Erl.

To reiterate what Fir3b1rd said, the Provari is a fine instrument. Nothing wrong with it at all. A quality product built right here in the good ol' USA and backed by the manufacturer's warranty. That's why there are images of it in this thread.

I guess it comes down to personal preference and style of vaping that one does.
