From the little bit in-law of the clones the 510 was threaded into part of the housing and stripped out easily leaving no way for it to be repaired

One review I've read mentioned a shocking 510 connection... Two others, one of which referenced multiple cases of reader input, had no issues.
I think it's very much a case that there are multiple versions out there, one of which is bad.

FC pulled their Zero stock because of an issue. Not sure what it was but they have a 15 day wait for the Zero in the USA warehouse.

Yes, one reviewer got a Zero clone with a bad 510. Everyone else reported no issues. Yosen is making some changes to the chip, but no word yet on what. I want one to put a DNA40 in. Hope that's not a mistake and that its not janky. If it comes down to it, I will replace the 510 as well. I'm completely rebuilding my Hana clones, but they were cheap to begin with so I don't really care.

To be fair, the Zero is $110 and a DNA 40 is $60 so it's still the cheapest DNA 40 device. I have 2 Hana clones (full size and mini) that I plan on upgrading to DNA 40's. And did I mention my rDNA 40 is shipping???

But if you add $20, you can get a vs rdna 40 and no upgrades required but with the pricing of a Zero or even a black rose, I would rather go for one of Jemit's mods - you can get 2 of them for the price of one black rose or a zero.

True but sometimes you can't get exactly what you want so modding is the way to go.
