Yes, there have been some firmware upgrades which could be confused with "version 3"... But the fact is 5-10% of these boards were faulty. Evolv is now severely checking the chips before they ship and we are rechecking ourselves too before assembling them. If a few slip through the crack, we will get it swapped out for any customer as fast as possible. Btw, yes our current assembly line is loading the updated DNA40 chips. TC.

Q, there will always be some duds, it can't be avoided. Only mechs are more reliable. Customer service is key though.

I tested rDNA 40 at 27w, 35w and 40w for about an hour and no glitch (but huge buzz ). I'm very happy with it and it has so far exceeded my expectations.

At 40w with temp control, it hit like a freight train and no burnt taste from a KFL+ and rayon. Truly amazing. Wow.

My VaporShark has been working flawlessly from day 1. I often switch between 2 attys one with nickel and one with Kanthal and switches over with no issues. I've even thrown in an Atlantis in the mix since I just received it on Monday.

Not with the rDNA 40. Wireless is built in. You just need a charging pad. The one VS sells is less that $6 shipped on eBay (US seller).

I'd Highly recommend the Tylt Vu especially since it'll be 50% off ($35). 3 coils so less fuss putting it exactly where it needs to be to charge and 45° angle.
