guys, I am sorry I took my anger out in public. chemo is messing with my mind.

do you guys still consider the sx mini m-class high end? it has the same darn paint issues but I think it is an interesting twist on the dna40. I know higher end mods also have the yihi too. otherwise it is well built. not perfect but I am critical and none of my over 40 are.(including mechs)

I was wondering who are some of the makers of burl wood dna40 and sx350 mods? I can't find anything on google.

I believe that at this time, the only mods with the SX 350 chip are the SX Mini S Series and the SX Mini M Series (with temp control)...

I could be wrong, if so, someone please let us know....

By the way, I received my SX mini M today, and this mod feels solid, and really has some great features! It has 4 mods, soft, standard, powerful and powerful +. They basically allow you to set your device to a specific watt, but then either have the device hit at 10% below that wattage for the first two seconds, and then go to your specified setting (soft mode), or hit 10% above your specified setting, for two seconds and then lower down to what you set the device at.

This allows you to remain at, say, 23w, and by simply changing the mod from soft to normal to powerful, your vapping experience changes dramatically! It's a great feature that you really need to use to see it's benefits... (I believe the VaporShark rDNA has something similar)

Anyways, so far, the SX has really been a pleasure, and seems extremely well built!

yes I know lol. I have both the sx mini s and m. it really is my favorite production mod. very nicely built and the chip imo is the best there is currently. as I said elsewhere it is ironic that the Chinese brought the best product. custom mods are nicer., as far as dna40 production devices like hana, flask, shark etc I much prefer the sx mini m class. the chip is nearly bullet proof and the mod is solid. I use it while I wait for my dna devices to be repaired! the chip seems to be bug free and free of failure.i have a very potent setting on the subtank with nickel. more than most people would go but it produces vapor and flavor that is only short of the tobh imo. with this you will need a very wide bore drip tip to take full advantage. it melted an acrylic to the ground.

Quite a few mods have the SX350 board in it. They typically are higher end mods. There are also some other mods about to hit with the new SX350J board in them as well. You can buy the board for I think around 70-80 bucks so again you will typically begin to see them in the higher end mods.

As far as they Yihi mod I caved and ordered one. Suppose to be a nice piece.

the sx mini is great. I wish the 350j was in a very high end mod though. no one will be disappointed by the sx mini m-class either way. so meanwhile are there any dna40 wood mods available? I just hate to sink bucks into those because the chip has been very problematic for me. I am waiting for my third round of hana upgrades.
I do wish they did a dual battery sx mini without the tube. right next to each other it could still be more mini than the vapor flask. just looks odd with that sticking out the bottom. I still love it though. I am glad for those that ordered it. I doubt you will be disappointed unless you are a nitpicker. like the corners of the shroud but it is the chip that counts. the mod is pretty decent anyhow.

I've been using a Sigelei mini 30W, and wanted to come in here and see what would be the next step up. My complaints with the Sig are the button is wonky (doesn't fire 100%), and the 510 is not exactly solid. Other than that, I am really loving the regulated mod world. Seems like the SX mini may be in my future.
