I bet it's like those pens with dirty pictures on them, the kind where you hold them and their clothing disappears :D

FWIW the board in the PV4 behaves just like the M class mini. It also has very good battery life. If I am vaping 30w-40w I can easily go through 30 or more mL of juice in a day. I vaped the IPV exclusively for two full days, roughly 70mL of juice at 34 watts. End of the second day the 25r pair jumped immediately to 3.5 when I put them on the charger. Dual battery though.

Also, I am kinda pissy, I have had some amazing luck with DNA40 devices, the only ones I have had with consistently wonky chips were vaporsharks but I was prepared for that and no longer have any VS stuffs.

I now have two mods that have wattage function issues. Galactika Minerva with a wattage up function that goes "on" shortly after putting a battery in and a Sunbox E7 Monster that has the wattage down function go "on" shortly after putting a battery in.

Boooooo

Somewhat, thanks. I knew the IPV's were a step down, but I don't know the specific details. I just know that Kat said her's burns through batteries, and mine isn't used in a way that's qualified to comment. My SX seems fine (battery wise).

Comparable to everything else that I run at similar power, at least.

I realized that I may not have been fair, or scientific in this statement @DPLongo22. And I doubt I can be, as I don't vape one mod for the day, so a comparison to something else is unlikely to happen. :) It IS pastable it is my imagination. But my left brain says no, it's eating batt power.

I snagged an IPV4 for $65 and it has been a fantastic mod, best bang for the buck I can think of, and getting into TC (I'm not including DNA clones) couldn't be any cheaper. I vape around 17-20watts usually, and even when I only used it exclusively for the first few days, because I was liking it so much, I didn't need to change the batteries until the third day, lol.

It's a nice bit of kit, period, but for the price its incredible ;)

I did not get that big of a cut on mine. I was shopping on NEWEGG and was debating on using my egg points for something that was going on my expense account as I did not think I was going to use them. Then I saw newegg market place had IPV4s listed. So I used the egg points and added the IPV4 to the order. Work reimbursed the full purchase price of the item I was expensing so it was like using 60$ worth of eggpoints for a 100$ IPV4 :) I paid 40$ for mine and 60$ "bet you won't use them before they expire dollars" I felt like I won that day.

*Vapers Logic*

Edit, Even for around 100$ the IPV4 is a great deal IMO. I have sent 4 times that much for mods that have stuck wattage functions.

Yeah it is. I initially plopped down $80 on a preorder without a second thought before bailing on that for various reasons *cough* vendor *cough* lol.

It's easily worth $100 even, and many places are selling them at that after the preorders ended.

Damn though, I had no idea NewEgg sold vaping gear, lol

A question for you all...

Would you prefer soldered, or crimped, connections in a mod? And why?
I honestly don't know if one or the other is better. I'm asking as up until now I've only seen soldered, but now a certain mod is going to have crimped.
What is this certain mod?

Yep, Chels is going 'crimped' on the XVO now. Noticed his post on Vapor Wall yesterday.
Possibly due to inconsistencies in connectivity / conductivity with poorly done soldering efforts.

Haha I wasn't going to name the mod, but the omnipresent @qorax has nailed it! You know nearly everything mate! :D
Yes I saw it tonight on AVF and it made me wonder.
