It's tougher to define 'high end' in the regulated market, I think. With mechanicals, a superior switch design, for example, or a superior 510 top cap, or tube material could produce a different/better vape experience.
Here, a $100 DNA40 device is going to vape identical to a $800 DNA40. What you're paying for is fancy wood, exclusivity, etc., nothing else.
Now don't get me wrong, I can appreciate fine craftsmanship and rare wood, and hand made stuff. It's beautiful. They are works of art indeed. I just don't see the market for it lasting. But I could be wrong.
The board design and advances in regulated chips is moving so fast these days, it makes me hesitant to 'invest' in one of these.
It will be interesting to watch, that's for sure.
