High End REGULATED MODS !

I'm on a GB list for the E8 at another forum, I've been wanting a SunBox before I even started squonking, lol

I'm crazy excited about it, they are just incredible and work so well. I'm in love with their design too, just love the look of them.

Do you run the flatter adapter for 22mm mods or have the UFO cup? (sorry, didn't look closely at pic)

I'll be using both, so I'm going for flatter adapter, was curious if you've ever had issues using it (if that's what you are running of course, lol)

I am on the hunt for an E8, just love the new design. The one pictured is an E7 Monster 26650 and is native 22mm 510. I do have an E7 Modulo that I use the flatter with and have no issues with it. I also use a Flatter with my Galactika when I want to run 22mm atties on it.
My only issue with the Sunbox is the DNA40 in the Monster got a "wattage down stuck" issue. It would go away when you take the battery out for a few hours but soon as the chip warmed up after boot up the wattage would go down to one and stay. I just set it on battery install and locked it to use. I just put a new last version DNA40 in this one this last weekend. Took my time and re-used all the stock wiring, looks 100% factory inside still

What would really make me happy is to get a "Hellfire" branded E8 with a BF Raptor. I heard they are coming.

A Hellfire Squonked would be a lovely thing indeed, lol. I always like the Odin versions, and the Odin II SunBox E8 is no exception...but an HF would be nuts.

I might just do that. What I really do not need right now is something else to take money out of my pocket. Vacation is in a little less than three weeks. My wife and grand daughter will be angry if we have to bring ramen soup to eat on vacation

SP and SLO are also great places to find loads of Italian squonkers. I am at 7 right now and either need to cull or or hide

I also own a Geyscano 50watt, and use it almost everyday. My beater squonker since I sold my Reos.

Yeah, I like the Galactikas too, the maker (Adrianne I believe) is a really cool guy too.

How is the Matrix, btw? (or do you have one?) I missed out on those, hoping more go up soon.

I do not like the Chalice III, I will get rid of it when I get another Matrix or a No Fear Again.

My favorites so far have been the Matrix and the No Fear No tank and the newer Graal. I liked the Viper well enough but did not want to drill it and it was too tight of a draw for me. The Chalice II is very nice if you drill it to 1/16

I would start looking for them to go on sale anytime in the next week or two. They just finished a huge batch of them, they will most likely be posted on the smo-king.it site.

Indeed it is Fear. I did have to pay RRP for the Zero though. Just paid RRP for a Paul Marek as well that I should have in about 2 weeks.

Indeed it is Fear. I did have to pay RRP for the Zero though. Just paid RRP for a Paul Marek as well that I should have in about 2 weeks.

I have yet to play a Ganza, after vacation I will join in though.

Zeros are not my thing, I had one and just do not see the draw to them. Different strokes, not to say they are bad or anything, just not my thing. I really like Paul Mareks stuff, and even the lower end C frames that Kostas did.

Speaking of snobbish things, I have some Leica cameras. The ultimate snob camera. They are dinged and scratched and chipped and look as if they have been thrown off a cliff. In photography circles those 'wear' marks are looked at as badges of honor that separate those who use their stuff in interesting places and those who never take them out of the house. Do you think I could get away with the same reasoning when my sx mini gets it's inevitable 'wear' marks?

Do you want to sell those Leicas?? You'll really have a hard time developing....what's that stuff...??? O YeP,...film!!! But I do collect 35mm cameras.
