hcigar does make a single battery 75C mod, but it is chambered to use up to a 26650 (it can use an 18650 though) which makes it a bit wider. Also it only comes in Black, Red, or Blue and I prefer stainless/silver.

Just a warning.

VT75Cs have a bit tight battery compartment, lengthwise that is. Efest, Fogstar and many others are too long and short. You don't want to use longer than 65,4mm batteries with this mod.

One battery I can recommend is Aspire 4300mAh 26650s. Mine are 65,15mm to 65,30mm long so they are ok to use with that mod. Just to be safe, measure them before using. Get a piece of stiff plastic, plop that on positive end and measure total length, then measure the thickness of that plastic bit and subtract that from total length.

Oh and that metal piece the cap screws into tends to get hot near screws even if tightened all way way. Its totally harmless, just a bit concerning when it happens for the first time.

I like the 75c board so much that I managed to stash an half dozen of Therions with some spare boards.
The 75c is a totally different board with respect to the 250c, but for some reason the majority consider the 75c as 'obsolete' and therefore 75c mods are hard to find, except for some custom devices like the Thor.
Insisting on sourcing some more 75c devices (Therion, Mirage, Vt75c), I am leaning toward second hand market.
Unless Lost Vape / Hcigar make some more production runs, which seems unlikely to me.
I'm sorry of not being able of further help.

Wouldn't it be easier to just buy boards?

I can't understand that, as there still aren't many 250C mods to be found. And for my use, they're exactly the same thing as the 75C - I'll be using the same theme with all, as a matter of fact - I assume that's completely possible.

I'll gladly take 250C if they can bring along my Mirage 250C, and Hcigar vt250d.

I personally use the HCigar VT 75D (uses the DNA 75C board but is dual battery). I liked it so much I bought 3 more as backups. I got my 3 newest ones from GearBest, as they are getting harder to find.

I bought my 1st about a month ago. I liked it so much, I just received 2 more a couple days ago.

It's about the only single battery I can think of, other than the VT 75D which I believe is also discontinued by Hcigar.

And thanks for possibly seconding my growing suspicion that they may have been discontinued. The black's been unavailable, but the silver is still... Umm.. somewhere?:confused:

3 more on the way!

Vicious Ant Primo 21700. Expensive but it’s very nice.

I haven't priced that particular model but every VA mod I have priced was not just expensive, but "OMGWTF are they crazy?" expensive ($500-$800). While I will say that most of them do look good, I'd rather buy 6 - 8 of some other mod with the SAME DNA board than just one of theirs. Of course some people don't mind the prices. I bought my 4 HCigar VT75D's for less than $300.

It's like cigar smokers..... There's people who smoke Swishers day in and day out that like to enjoy an Opus X or a Cohiba from time to time. You capitalize "SAME DNA" like it's a shocker that it's the same chip. Are you under the impression that people buy high end mods because they think it's the only way to score the elusive DNA 75C? I've had HCigar VT75's and they're extremely functional. Are they High Quality? No. Does a $400 + price tag mean something is high quality? No. Is the VA Primo High Quality? Yes. If the title of this thread was "Looking for an Extremely Functional DNA 75C Mod" I seriously doubt I would've suggested a VA product...

I just don't see value in paying that much for something that does the exact same thing as something that costs a fraction of the price. You do and that's fine. It's not like cigars though. A more expensive cigar might taste significantly better, but paying more for a housing isn't going to alter your experience in any meaningful way when the boards are identical. It would be different if the other DNA mod housings were junk that cracked and broke easily or all the time. That's just not the case though. I get that some people are willing to pay more for looks and do get enjoyment out of that. I'm just not one of them. Of course all of this is my personal opinion and you are certainly entitled to yours. We can just agree to disagree.

I have nothing against cheap gear...I think it's great and I own plenty of it. There will always be people like you around that feel the need to say "I just don't see the value in an expensive mod..." or "I just don't see why one would buy a Rolex when my Timex actually keeps time better...." or "I just don't understand why people buy Levi's when taping two potato sacks together works just fine...." Whatever. Would I be able to tell the difference between a VT 75C and a Primo if I was blindfolded and someone else was holding the mod? No. But guess what... I'm not blindfolded and I don't have a personal vape butler. So, yes... For whatever reason, myself and many others find it more enjoyable to use a very nice piece of gear at certain times. If it was all about nicotine delivery, I'd just chew the gum.

I guess I'm just not one to pop into the Subtank thread and say " I just don't understand why people would throw their money away on inconsistent, expensive and inferior coils rather than build their own...." It's just snotty, egotistical and unnecessary. If people would quit worrying about what other people did with their money, the world would be a better place. Want to know why you don't understand? Because you don't. No harm, No foul.

There are lots more on the fasttech site if you want another one

For anyone thinking about those, I might not hold your breath on them.. I ordered 3 more from FT along with some other items.. A week later I got a notice saying the other items are going to ship first in a separate package. So now I'm wondering if the next email will be saying they can't find those VT75d's. :(

So I ended up ordering 3 more Mirage's after others got a chance to get one from the "Mirage" thread when someone located some that mysteriously showed up somewhere. I want to have nothing but DNA C (+) mods out on my desks/tables anymore.

This is probably an example of fasttech's terrible updating....I hope they have a source for them and its just a matter of waiting.

I'm a bit worried now as i was looking at a billet box copy.....i wonder if that's going to be the same thing?

Where did you get the mirages??

Cheers :)
