Did you know there is an ignore feature on this board? It works very well. I just saw it.
Sorry, that was me starting the weather thing!I love Yorkshire too, the people are great although they do speak funny
I've been living in West Yorkshire for coming up to 6 years now - at least we are getting the weather now!
It's so British of us to start talking about the weather ..

Sorry, that was me starting the weather thing!
And that was it, that was summer.....no sun today....knew it!
Sorry Spider, I'm a nurse and spent most of the weekend in work. i'm currently trying to pluck up courage to use my e-cig in the coffee room, now that would cause a stir.
I've already told a few patients about it, they get nicotine patches sometimes but as most of us know they really don't cut it do they? I think it's terrible that hospitals make patients go outside to smoke. So dangerous and doesn't help anyone, patients or nursing staff who worry the whole time they are off the ward.
After all they are in hospital because they are ill and trekking half a mile into the freezing cold trailing a drip stand for the evil weed IS NOT going to help! There has to be a better solution.
Sorry rant over, but the anti's out there have made our jobs harder in this respect. We know that most of the patients are not going to give up whatever we tell them about the dangers of smoking and we should make it as safe as possible. For most of my patients it's too late so their attitude is "why stop now?"
I'll keep spreading the word and maybe get a few converts to the e-cig!
I'm pretty certain it's in West Yorkshire - as am I.
Anyway, what do you care Emp? It's all just 'Up North' to you Londoners isn't it?
