I ordered a 6v mod on 12/12 to celebrate my quit anniversary and bought a variety of High Voltage juice, charger, extra batteries, etc. in anticipation.

Since the device hasn't arrived yet, I sampled the flavors on my 510 and on my PT (at 5v?). None are bad, but out of eight flavors they're all just mediocre. There isn't a winner in the bunch. :(

I found tons of rave reviews for this supplier and the specific products I ordered. They had had the cleanest order, payment, and tracking process as well as near-record shipping speed.

So here's my question: Are people's preferences that different or should I just have waited for the 6v device? Do HV juices taste crappy at 3.7v?

It's hard to say any more than what the creator of some HV juice says:

"High Voltage (HV) is a more flavorful Eliquid for high voltage mods and manual battery lovers. It offers a longer burning time with an excess amount of vapor. Our enhanced formula makes for a thicker liquid with a lower nicotine content and atomizes nicotine for better absorption creating less of a burnt aftertaste."

You'd have to assume with the 'thicker liquid' more vapor that there's some VG as part of the mix and the more flavor is likely ... well, more flavoring, with the idea that some flavors suffer from the heat of manuals and HV mods. And while others may rave about them there is the subjective nature of tastes where people have different tastebuds. I've never heard of a 'bad batch' coming from this particular vendor.

If you have any left you might just wait until the 6v machine comes in and give it another try before moving on. Personally there are few flavors from there that I would call 'crappy' - they tend to be on the sweet side and if I'm not in the mood for sweet, then I do something else. His more recent tobacco flavors are less sweet and vape rather well, imo.
