+ So I have a mini protank 2 I just got a week ago with a clone ego twist 1000mah and an authentic 900mah ego t.I was using my original protank until the glue came undone. Anyways I was showing my friend that his carto can fit my twist(seemed like a 510), and it did. I'm not sure what happened but afterwords when I used the mini 2 it tasted burnt. I had to turn the voltage down to 3.4 or 3.5 for it to taste normal. before this it only tasted burnt if i twisted it past 4.2. I was wondering what happened? I thought it might be the tank and I tried the mini 2 on the ego t and it too fluxuated from burnt to normal and I didnt use his carto on it nor his battery for my mini 2. keep in mind I put a brand new 2.2 ohm head on it only like 20mins before. I'm baffled.

Sometimes the coil goes wacky, I don't know why, but I get my coils reading weird on my eVic from time to time. Their 2.2 and they'll read up to 2.7 sometimes...urgh!

Hello and welcome to ECF. The best idea I have is you got some juice that leaked onto the battery making the connection a little less.

2.2 is a pretty low ohm head, did you maybe have a 2.5 or so in it before? And you just noticed. Otherwise, most likely, you may have tightened the tank too much which chokes off the wicks making them dry out faster. Loosen the tank and very lightly tighten it. I actually run my protanks with really loose tanks for better wicking and flavor. Actually 2-3 full turns loose so its nice and saturated. No burning on chain vaping.
OMG, I just loosened the tank up a bit on this recommendation and WOW! I'm sitting in a cloud of vape now!
No juice on batt, it was a 2.2 and ive also used 2.5 because i think thats what comes with the original protank mini and I seem to get the same amount of vapor, and the vape is fine i was just wondering why my twist is putting out a higher voltage now, it's still acting the same. It might be the head but it's still vapin pretty well and I won't need to clean it for a day or two to see. Thanks everyone for your help.
Also my battery is lasting like twice as long which is good, No complaints there.
