I was finally able to place a decent size order and I somehow missed the root beer float!?! It figures... Oh and quick question, I finally ordered a big bottle of CB, and when I got my order there was a note that said they weren't able to customize the pgvg ratio at this time... What happened? Just curious :) I got the frenilla and I'm letting it steep, haven't tried it yet, looking forward to it though!

Heya Jess!~ I was somewhat flexible when I was in production personally - I would custom mix 50ml bottles with 1-3-5-10ml syringes to get custom PG/VG ratios and flavor loads. At present the production team only has access to finished liquid (pre-steeped) in fixed PG/VG ratios - they don't have the ability to manipulate the variables. There is a way for you to do it yourself though - in the case of CLS/CB/GCD/PBC - Near zero is in MAXVG - so, if you mix MAXVG with 6/12/18 you can come to your ideal PG/VG ratio (with the added bonus of 50% flavor boost to compensate for the additional VG!)

Examples:

Mix 2/3 NZ with 1/3 18mg to come to an extremely high VG 6mg
Mix 1/2 NZ with 1/3 18mg to come to a high VG 9mg
Mix 1/2 NZ with 1/2 12mg to come to a high VG 6mg

The ratios are virtually endless for maximum flexibility. We aim to serve the cloud chasers, the people who are PG intolerant/sensitive, the "flavor boost junkies", and the low/no nic crowd... (killing 4 birds with 1 bottle). I hope that makes sense?

Steep time: absolutely none

Nic Level: 12mg

tank/Atomizer: RM2

Build Information: 1.38ohm, cotton wick

mod: (mechanical, VV) Reo Mini 2.1

Thoughts/Tasting Notes: as soon as I walked through the door from work, grabbed the familiar purple package from my desk and ran upstairs to my workspace, as my youngest yells "I get the candy!" rinsed out the Reo and RM2, dry off, add fresh battery, dry burn coil, add fresh wick. grabbed a clean bottle, half-filled with RBF and the rest with 10mg 50/50 unflavored. squonk, squonk.. hit, hit.. oh yeah.. hit, hit, squonk, repeat.

I'm a sucker for a good Root Beer Float. and I've been sucked-in, big time! feels like little bubble pops on my tongue, nice RB flavor, smooth almost creamy vanilla..

unfortunately for Taryn, no little candy this time, but Mum's got RBF, so she can be happy with that.

and a HUGE thank you for the upgrade on one of the bottles in the order!!

Steep time: None

Nic Level: 6mg

Tank/Atomizer: Vision V.Tox

Build Information: Stock 1.8 ohm coil

Mod: (mechanical, VV) MVP2 set to 8 watts

Thoughts/Tasting Notes: Spot on to the A&W Root Beer I had earlier today. Absolutely great juice, not too strong like most other root beer flavors I've tried. Hopefully this one will be around for a while!

Also, thanks for the upgrade from a 15ml to a 30ml, you guys are awesome!

I may have to do the same, even though my plan was to let the Frenilla steep for a month, or so. I'm getting the RB part of the RBF, but the vanilla escapes me for the moment (first day, no steep).

At high wattage I lose the float part entirely. It was a give and take thing... I had to lower the wattage to taste it.

I completely agree. I got a new atty and it only has air holes on one side (haven't had time to drill yet) and I effectively lowered my wattage from 80w to 22w, and the taste is much different. Definitely more on the floaty side rather than the root beer barrel candy. Its yummy!

I feel like the RBF is like a Barqs float and if you add some well steeped Frenilla you get a A&W float. Both delicious!

Steep time: FOOB

Nic Level: mg

Tank/Atomizer: Genesis

Build Information: Dual coil, 1.4 Ohms, cotton

Mod: Nemesis mech

Thoughts/Tasting Notes: Normally, I sample flavors in 3 atty's on two different mod's. I cannot leave it alone long enough to rewick the others. Oh my goodness! This is fantastic! Fizzy rootbeer with a slight cream on the exhale. How in the heck the fizz comes through just amazes me.
I want to try this mixed with H1N1 or Clarks Blend but I am afraid that if it tastes bad, I am going to mourn the loss of the few drops of RBF. Outstanding!

Barqs - we never get that stuff in the fountains in Omaha. I am always sipping on fountain sodas - I hate getting cans and bottles anymore, refilling the same cup "feels better for the environment." OMG, tree-hugging in my old age. The compare and contrast between A&W and Barqs is interesting, regardless. Now, Omaha, get me some Barqs in the foundtain - kthxbai.

Better than Barq's...I get this stuff at a local custom ar-15 maker's shop when we stop by for our purchases:
Dang! That's Good
With corn syrup so pervasive in sodas, I don't drink any at all unless it is one of these delicious local treasures.

My gf just brought that home for me + their red cream soda. Mmmmm.
