I so agree with you darlin' I bought 2 bottles of Wakonda and vaped the first one rather quickly The other one I put back. Well fast forward 2 months and WOWSERS this juice did a complete turn around I dripped it in my magma and I love this juice, (only problem is I loaned it to my neighbor to try) haven't seen it since guess he likes it too

I didn't like Wakonda the first time I tried it. It was ok but I wasn't getting the same "taste" that everyone else was getting. So I let it sit for 2 weeks and tried it again. This time the flavor was more there. Now, I have some 3 month old Wakonda that I got in a trade and WOW! This is good!! It's what I'm vaping this morning mixed with some NZ CB.

I can see what you mean about sour. Mine is 2 months from bod that I just got and on my fogger I get a lot of cream and a bit of coffee almost like I'm drinking a breve on exhale. On the inhale I get a slight rich tobacco.

Got my first order from Nicoticket on December 3rd. Wakonda and Custard's Last Stand. Here's how Wakonda hit for me...

Steep time: FOOB/2 weeks later

Nic Level: 12mg

Tank/Atomizer: Nautilus mini

Mod: (mechanical, VV): Eleaf iStick

Thoughts/Tasting Notes: FOOB I have to say the smell was different than anything I have scented before. Wasn't sure what it was. On first hit I got a really sour (think sour like a dirty sponge-not a lemon) note, and a kind of coffee (?) flavor on the exhale. Didn't care for it at all. Set it aside, washed out my tank, and refilled with my fave (thus far) juice to get the taste out of my mouth!
Let it sit while I thought about it...I mean, the reviews here led me to choose this juice...maybe I was missing something? Tried it again (just a dropper full) and nope - still found it sour and unpleasant with a kind of damp earth taste on the back of my tongue. Decided to fill the tank the rest of the way with the CLS. Ah ha! THAT was much better. The sour taste was gone and it definitely tasted more like coffee. But, put it aside for a while thinking that a bit of a steep might help it.
Two weeks later - I still don't really love the Wakonda straight up, but mixed with the CLS at about a 70/30 CLS/Waki I find myself enjoying it all day.

This is the first 'tobacco' juice I've tried so I really can't speak to that flavor - not sure what it brings to the juice. If anyone can offer a general description of the notes it may add to juices I'd appreciate it. Meanwhile, not sure I'll order it again, but will leave 30ml of it to sit for a while and will re-visit again in a few weeks.
Clearly, ejuice experience is one of those things upon which 'your mileage may vary!'

Welcome to the Nuthouse pbxbelmar! I get a "coffee bite" at the front end of Wakonda... kinda like that first sip of black coffee in the morning. As the day progresses the coffee tends to fade, for me... the vanilla with a hint of tobacco has a tendency to take over as the day wears on. (gradually) What device are we in?

I'm using a mini nautilus on my iStick so 1.7ohms and yes, I did work the wattage up and down from 5 to 17. The higher end was borderline burnt and still just meh - nasty. Lower was less bad...lol I do think that part of it is that I was expecting a creamy coffee taste and got more of a burnt dark roast that sat too long in the pot kind of experience.

Mixed with CLS it's growing on me. Still couldn't handle it solo, though. Kind of like when I first started drinking coffee. Still prefer my coffee as more of a cafe au lait. I've found that with most juices I generally like them best around 4V or around 9/10 watts or a bit lower. Haven't got a device that goes higher than my iStick yet. Not sure I will. At least for now, I don't have time to fit a dripper into my life. If I can't put it in a tank that lasts for a while and go, I'm afraid I'll end up back on the cancer sticks. (uck)

And dani, it's good to have company.

The iStick/Nauti combo should be a good pairing... I need to revisit Wakonda in that pairing (we have both the iStick/Nauti)... the coil - BVC?

I just ordered a couple more bottles of wakonda yesterday, but i really wish it looked like this steeped wakonda. Although if there aren't any available a 500ml would be o.k. Don't want to be difficult so either option is fine. I know, i know,but i still believe in santa,and comic book heroes.

I'm so glad you're doing this while you're younger. I'm too old to pull all-nighters anymore. It's hard being almost 40 with two kids and a home to maintain. Stay in school and live with your parents as long as you can!!!

I may have missed this elsewhere, but how long has it been since you quite smoking? If you don't mind me asking.
I am trying to get a sense of where your palate may be as it does take a while for ones palate to return after quitting smoking.

I got my first starter kit on May 20th last spring. Haven't had a cig since. Palate's pretty well back (as is the nose!)

Yep, the new ones. I like that setup. But it seems like I'm always seeing a better option coming along...up to a whole 3 devices and already have my eye on another one - and a couple other tanks...! FSM only knows how many I'll have by this time next year.

I've only tried Wakonda in a Clearmoizer, a genitank mega.

I decided to give it a whirl after seeing this thread again. I put it in my bottom-feed atty. I only filled the tank to about 3ml so I could dump back into the bottle if I didn't like it.

WOW!!!

It totally morphed on me. It really is good. I cannot believe the difference it has made being dripped. The taste is really distinct now. I cannot believe what a difference this juice has made on a different device. I really, really like it. I'll vape it this all morning if I change my mind. But right now it's great. I didn't even put CLS in it.

I transfered some into a 30 ml bottle and threw a coffee bean in with it. (I like to grind my own before I make my coffee). Im gonna see what it tastes like after a month or two!

I love anything coffee flavored. Hell, im a sucker for chocolate covered espresso beans!! I eat those things like m&ms! So I figured a little more coffee couldn't be a bad thing right?

Should I be ashamed of myself?
