So ill give a little update to those who care or asked or dont have one yet. I finally got this set up last night after making my own allen key out of a thicker one, just dremeled the tip down to size, home depot didnt have the correct size, I assume a hobby shop would though. I like this atty, I dont love it like I thought I would. Mine does get pretty hot, I now wish I got a delrin top hat for it maybe that would help a little. Another thing is, it is mad small inside, once you put your coils in, your wick material and screw the outter juice wall on its pretty cramped up in there, I didnt think it would be like that. I actually had to raise my coils up cause they were touching the side wall, and the coil legs were not that long at all. Another thing is dripping in this to me is a pain, you have to drip through the drip tip and I noticed liquid sits on top of the positive and negative posts and when fired it shoots hot liquid all in my mouth. If not through the drip tip youd have to always take the outter shell off and thats just a pain. Between all of that and the problems with the itty bitty set screws and spaghetti stick hex key, this isnt my favorite dripper. Looks nice, great flavor, and nice vapor production, im not bashing this rda just giving my thoughts and opinions on my take on this hobo.

This was just my opinions of course, and my views with my short time with the hobo. Dont let me sway you, you might have a totally different experience. I just thought the same you did, it had everything I wanted. I just didnt realize it was so small inside, had he made stuff a little bit bigger it would be a stellar rda.

UGHHHHH So apparently Vapor DNA put the wrong zipcode on my package with the correct address. The used my mailing address with my billing zipcode. Thank god both are still NY based but still. Thanks to that error I still do not have my HOBO in hand that i was supposed to get on monday. After 2 calls to the post office they finally told me they corrected the zipcode problem and it should make its way to me in a few days. ...
But on a positive not, PUFFPUFF sent my copper top cap. I mite need to get a white delrin one as well

Just got my Hobo V2 today from vaporDNA. I cleaned it and immediately built it with 28g kanthal, horizontal dual coil at 0.6 ohm. After I screwed on the juice well wall, or whatever it's called, I noticed that my coils weren't lined up with the cut out. I found a phone number for hobocustoms and called it. To my surprise, the modder who designed and made this answered the phone! I explained my dilemma and he immediately told me what my problem was and also sent me some pictures via text to help me out. I think I was too excited to get this today and build it that I didn't take the time to really examine the pieces and figure it out myself. I ripped out my build and promptly rebuilt it again, same coil and ohm. I'm still at the early stages of trying this RDA out, but so far, I'm liking it. I didn't mind the little grub screws, but I also have small hands and fingers so it wasn't awkward to me, but I can imagine that it would be for other people. I'll be vaping on this RDA for the next few days to get a feel for how it vapes. First impressions so far, when air holes are wide open, it is very airy and it is a little loud, so I closed down the airflow a little. I'm getting really good flavor and to me, it was super easy to build on. I do like the fact that it's a "petite" RDA after owning so many large ones, my coworkers are constantly joking that my RDAs seem to get bigger and bigger! Really loved the fact that I actually got to speak with the man who made this RDA when I called with some questions.

Should be receiving today. 4 days from pre-shipment in Honolulu. Not DHL from anywhere on the planet good, but in acceptable range. Thinking about aiming for about .5 or .6 ohm in the vertical configuration. I'm not a super experienced builder so may just look at it and go with whatever seems easiest to get off the ground. Hmmm, 28 AWG or 30 AWG. Been using twisted 30awg lately, not sure I really notice a difference (assuming equal resistance). It's not really hard or time consuming but it's and extra step FoSho.

So thinking 6 wrap 30AWG dual coil vertical. Any recommendations out there?

I know the modder himself said he uses dual verticle 24 gauge 5 wraps, forget the diameter of what he wrapped around. Id have to look at the post. Personally I have a dual horizontal 24 gauge 8 wraps 7/64 drill bit. Around .35 ohms. Its nice but I think when I get my 2nd one today im gonna try the dual vertical build, when I get a chance that it lol.

I finally built mine. Man this thing chucks vapor. Its pretty intense. I did dual vert coils @.4ohms. The flavor is on par w/ my magma(which was my favorite atty). for some reason mine didnt come w/ the drip tip I see other people posting. I also received slotted screws and allen screws, I prefer the allen screws. This thing is super small. looks great w/ the black top hat on my black stingray x. Im really liking this atty. It hold loads more juice than any of my other attys. Mine hasnt leaked yet but Im sure if you set it on the side it will leak.
