She's already stated that she's tried other ohm attys and cartos with the same results..but ONLY on her hog mod. Yes, I think Mike needs to address this...or somebody else with more knowledge about the electrical aspects of these things than *I* have anyway, LOL.

Sorry missed that part about different atties and it only happening on hog, definitely need the expertise then IMO

I got a question..

I love my hog. It is beautiful and it works great. Well, the problem is that when I use the hog the vapor is so hot and unpleasant. I thought that maybe it was my LR attys so I traded those away for SR attys. Even with a SR atty it is so hot that I still can't enjoy the vape. Any one else have that problem?...

I'm using Joye 1.5, Joye 2.4, boge 3.0, smoktech 2.8..

I have used a lot of different ohm attys and cartos and they all run very hot. I can use the same atty on an ego and it is fine but as soon as I put it on the hog it almost burns.

Is this your first 3.7 device? My Hog is my first non-eGo device, and I noticed it's a lot warmer, too. If it's your first one, maybe it's a question of getting acquainted with the higher voltage (eGo's run at around 3.2 volts...).

I know that my diy juices are all different now at this voltage (back to the drawing board... in a good way!)

Morgan, your batts are running about 4.2v fresh off the charger and staying around 4v for a very long time. I would bet this is your issue. You may need higher ohms on it until you feel the batt drop a bit, then throw a 3ohm on it. Just my thoughts.

Current in the wires might be flowing differently...do you have a voltage meter?

Im at a loss for why the vapor is that warm for you. Its a pretty straight forward wiring in the 3.7v mods. If anything was crossed in there your pcb on your batts would be shutting itself off as soon as you fired it.
I volt test and try out every mod with an atty before they are sent out, I dont remember your hitting any harder than the rest.

It wasn't doing it when I first got it. It is a recent discovery, like within the last month. I use the same 6 batteries in my hog and my chuck and the hog just hits much hotter.

My lips are sealed until it makes she grand appearance! All I can say is that it's VV, and I can't wait to see her. I have a name picked out for her, but if I told you, that'd give it away.

Yeah but that's been done, look in pic of all the woods in the back with the blue starburl that looks like 3 to me, but maybe a VV non feeder with catch cup?
