It does get a little slow in here if porn isnt posted in awhile.
Well, Friday I had to start cooking when I got home from work for a 40 person baby shower yesterday.
Managed about 3 hours sleep fri night.
24lbs of pulled pork, homemade sweet beans and ranch style beans, home made finishing sauce and bbq sauce.
And again I didnt make enough jalapeno poppers. Thought for sure I'd have enought with 7lbs jalapenos, 4lbs cream cheese, 3lbs sausage, 5lbs bacon, 1lb grated parmasan.

Ok now off to work on clearing out boxes from the garage so I can eventually get back to the mods.

Mmmm poppers all wrapped in cozy little bacon blankets =)

Mmmm...jalapeno poppers sound so good right now. It was 4 degrees the last time I checked. Went out and shoveled snow for 2 hrs.
My age (and back) is really catching up with me

I didn't cough or lose my breath once, though Feels good!

I don't think I've ever had jalapeno poppers wrapped in bacon. It sounds sooo good!

yeah they are pretty good with the bacon, smoked in the smoker for 2.5 hours then tossed in the oven to crisp up the bacon. The worst part is cutting up and gutting the jalapenos.

I think it's mainly people updating at the same time and thus editing the same base list and creating a few different lists with different gaps. Then after a while someone just finds the most recent list on the forum and updates it, making it "the new list" but inadvertantly leaving someone(s) off...

I've captured this one as it seems most compleat. We'll see about trying to maintain a centralized version...

Could use something like this: Hog's Mods Owners - Scribbless (alpha) - making lists easier.

Not sold on that particular site... just an example, but a central list should handle conflicting edits.

Not sold on that particular site... just an example, but a central list should handle conflicting edits.

I've been standardizing the lists, adding in history and correcting for errors. I figured on centralizing it somehow, but it's got to be "finished" first or it'll be in exactly the same shape it is now in a couple of weeks with two or three different versions floating around and everyone updating slightly different copies...

well no, there's only one copy with a central location. You just double click any of the empties to edit it, or click "Add Item" when a new mod goes out.

I opened that particular one to public so that all can edit, so it's on the honor system. A wiki page of some sort would be better, since there is history to easily graffiti-proof it.

What does the wooden match do? We have safety goggles and rubbed gloves but, I am so sensitive to the little boogers, I can't even be in the same room. Mike did an awesome job, cooking for 40 people. Everyone loved the food! There were a couple guys who insisted, it was the best pulled pork they had ever had. It was amazing!

Couldn't tell ya the science it was just passed down thru my family that using a match when cutting onions and peppers makes it much more bearable with hot stuff

I somehow missed this the first time around. Do you have a website? I know how hinky the admin can get here about selling stuff (they have all sorts of fine lines to walk), but that sound absofrakinlutely perfect to make a pouch/bag for a Hog.

Now I know what I want for Christmas...
