Nice lookin' (but what Hog isn't). What's the wood combo on it? Oh - and will there be a Thanksgiving Day sale coupon for it?

opps! Note to self - pay attention to what you read. Previous post lists it as Oak and Negro

That's one of the reasons I decided to add the construction details to the list--I was tired of having to ask about wood combinations all the time

Not sure if I quite have this baby down yet but it's getting close. I might have to get me one of those shiney VV Stainless Steel tube mods to put it on. Looks kinda dopey on a box mod, this thing with a drip tip is longer than an 1000mah ego battery

Ah man! I so would have used that line too =)

It is very big, dont have a tape on me, I'd say around 3 1/2"
I think I've seen a mini one floating around somewhere. Seems to be a juice hog though, might need the larger tank. Tons of vapor right now and I almost can't handle the TH from it and thats using a 3.2v ego batt. was told ya have to run a tank through it to break it in to reign in the TH.

You're the Hogmeister! Just build a mod with that built into the box! It would be about the same size as a dual 18650 box. Youdaman!!!

Yeah I could but man this thing looks slick. Don't think I'd want to hide it in a box. Hrmm maybe if I just bury the bottom tank part inside that'd look pretty cool.

*lol don't worry I wont attempt a box for the tank untill after the rest of the requested mods are done =)

One storage is cleared out and the garage is back in order so it shouldn't be long

A couple of people have cut a section out of the center shaft and then welded the two pieces together to make "mini" versions--so they are customized versions of custom-made kit and are thus very rare. The next co-op Scubabatdan runs, though, will be for his BFG design--a bottom-fed G-tank. That's the one Hog owners will want, and if it's like his current co-op it will be a no-solder build--meaning you will only have to assemble the pieces rather than actually construct the unit from raw materials...

Make the whole assembly the end of the mod!
like this
_
00 XX )
00_XX)

(the 0s are the tank, and the Xs would be the battery. :)

...

Just run the "squonk hole" vertically up the length of the door and put an led at both the top and bottom corner...

Yup, it's just replace the bottle space in my VV mods. It'd end up a little wider to fit the dia of this tank.

Or go with what I originally thought and make the box the size of the battery and just run the tank between the two end caps. The only problem would be button placement, but it could go on the top with only a slight extension to the length.

Just tossing out ideas :)

Yup. The squonk hole idea would be an easy fix. But having the tank be the whole end would be AWESOME!!!!!

Yes it would. The only thing I would worry about that way would be structural integrity, though. Those Scubagen tanks are heavy, and would put a lot of stress on the wood if it were only one piece supporting it at the bottom...
