Ok, here it is. Hog Box Model #0 modified with an OKR-T VV chip...

No worries about low V cutoff with protected batts Mike. Got a little sloppy on the solder as I was in a bit of a hurry to get this working.

This is a rippin hitter. I use all dual coil carto's on this baby and it fires through the full loaded voltage above and beyond 5v...WOW. Thanks again dude!

Nice, lots of room left in there using that chip and ditching the master on/off switch I had in there. Looks like I could use that chip and only widen my boxes from 2" to 2 3/8" and still have some decent sized bottom feeders with good batt life.

As far as the feed tubes go do they fed as well if the tube stops at the base of the atty?
The first feeder mod I made was off that Best 8 doller feeder mod thread or what ever its called. And thats how I've done the tubes since. I'd link to the thread but hard to do on my phone.

Thanks Drot and Hog. Yea, lots of room in there. I could have compacted the PCB layout a bit more also.

If you tightened up the chip and pot config on the PCB a bit more Hog, you could probably mount the chip and pot horizontally. This would still let you put a +/-5ml bottle in maybe (I say maybe...) without even adding any width to the box. You, like I, appear to have fat fingers though so soldering that tight might be a problem

Hmmm, on second thought Hog (after seeing your pics in this post), I still say see if you can't build more compact PCB and mount horizontally but maybe go with a taller box, not wider.

Just my $.02. I would rather have a 3/8" higher box. This thing palms so good and is so compact (compared to every other wood box mod I have seen or held) that I would hate to see you make it wider...

Ok, the new buttons came in last night so I'm going to try to get a few assembled tonight when I get home. Boxes are already finishef so its just a matter of soldering and epoxying all the goodies in.

Evening all,

Been swamped at work so I haven't had as much time to work on these as I thought I would this last week.
Dang work getting in the way of making mods, Bah!
And they had the nerve to tell me something about ya cant use company equipment for personal projects when I went in to make up some more boxes. That's kind of why I never got that pic up last Monday I said I would of what I use to make these.
Well we just couldn't have that so I went ahead and bought my own equipment to make these. Just didn't realize how much some of the equipment was going to cost. But owning the equipment will make it a lot better than having 15 mins after work a couple times a week to make up boxes.
