I found that removing the batting from the carto makes it almost impossible to flood. I only started using the cartos because I like the low res hit but didn't like the hot spitting juice through the shorter attys. The cartos solved that. Guess I'm weird too!

so....can anyone tell me how well the Hog will feed a carto?? I only have 2 attys and I'm so hooked on cartos that I just want to be able to use them on a feeder too. Maybe I'm weird??

They're vertical. I haven't played with horizontal yet.

Are those vertical or horizontal coil cartos you're doint that with 2mtech? I know Lynlee is a vertical coil girl. I've used 2 and 3ohm Boges, Joye and dual coil cartos. All work well. And using and adapter and other attys works too. :)

I've been using a Cisco 306 1.7 on my Mini, but it hits so hot on my Hog that I wind up feeling like I sucked up half the bottle straight out of the microwave. Less than 2.5 attys in the Hog don't cut it for me either. The Boge 510 cartos right at 2.0 are perfect unless they still have the filling, then I had a hard time keeping the wick wet without flooding them. YMMV.
