Down the rabbit hole..
Ordering up parts as we speak.
I have a 4 day week end this week so I'll be working on getting a batch together.
I also ordered up some VV components so I'll be working on that as well. Going to start off with an dual 18350 battery VV first I think. Should keep the the mod the same at 1" thick and 2" wide but it will grow in height to 4 1/8" tall. Will still take a 6ml bottle and last quite awhile while still staying at a decent size I think.

yayy!... vv dual 18350's my fave batts...I definitely want one! :).....

All I can say is WOW!!:rickroll:

I just got Hog mod #4 in the mail this afternoon. This is beautiful! The pictures don't do it justice. Mike, you've really outdone yourself with these.

It's compact, light weight, the button is placed in the perfect spot, no leaks, easy to feed, it doesn't taste like tree bark...I love this mod!

I've had a few other wood bottom feeders and this one seems to combine all of my "favorite options" into one device.

Thanks for putting this out there:thumb:

I'm glad you like it.
Tomorrow starts my 4 day weekend so I should be able to start on some more mods.
I have two with their 2nd coat drying right now that are similar to this last batch.
Waiting to see how the finish turns out on these two. Been getting some tips from the guys at the local Woodcraft store.
little more work on the finish but so far it looks like it will be the way I go with them from now on.
Its a sand, sand, sand, sand, shellac, sand, shellac, sand, oil and urethane, sand, oil and urethane, sand, oil and urethane, sand, oil and urethane, sand, oil and urethane, carnuaba and beeswax buff, carnuaba and beeswax buff finish.
Whew, see why it takes so long?

Well, you can definitely see that you put a lot of love into what you are doing. It's much appreciated:)

Pardon, I'm new to the thread.. trying to catch up. I want to make sure I understand. The mods get posted here as they're done and bought on a first-come first-served basis? Including an VVs? Am I understanding that correctly or did I fall off the flat Earth somewhere? -Magnus
