Well isn't everyone awfully nice.
I know I stated somewhere way back in this thread that I'm pretty new to woodwork.
I really am learning this as I go.
Before I starting making mods my woodworking experience was pretty much limited to this chair

And these heated snake display tanks.

So that's why I really appreciate the feedback.
And yeah hun, I do trend to be petty hard on myself. But that's what pushes me to do better. I base my work like I was the buyer. If I wouldn't pay for it, its not worth selling.

Although, turn me lose with my welder and plasma cutter and I'm a happy camper.

Lol those babies will hold 225° for 12 hours straight for slow cooking pulled pork with minimal fire box tending. Build them all as reverse flows, notice smoke stack on same side as fire box. Every square inch is calculated for optimal heat retention and flow. Temps vary only 3° from fire box side to cold side.

man... i cant tell you how many drums and 500gal oil drums i destroyed trying to get it right..... i glow red on one side and can keep a foam cup on the other with out it melting... lol

Well we know where the Hog Family Reunion will be --- and what will be served. MMmmmm pulled pork whilst vaping on our hogs! Does life get any better than this?

I feel extremely lucky to have gotten the very last Hog Mod that sold for $85 - and this baby will never be sold/traded/given away. In fact, I think I'll change my will so it's buried with me. I sleep with it every night. I wake up in the morning and there it is, tucked under the pillow to protect it from the evil kitties. I can vape before I even open my eyes! #11 is very special ... no one wanted it when it was released, people grabbed up all the others in the usual frenzy of post/sold within minutes, and it just sat there waiting for me. I couldn't sleep that night and got up to check my email and there it was, sitting there all alone, waiting for me ...I purchased it at like 3am and we've been having this love affair ever since! No matter how many Hogs I buy in the future (and I suspect it will be many) #11 will always be my baby.

I thought you were talking about a hog and I got angry and then sad. Thinking, why would anyone call a hog ugly and why in the would they burn one! I see now, what the conversation was and I apologize.

I will never ever turn loose of #18. This thing goes to work with me everyday. It sleeps with me at night. She has been to the grocery store, the mall, the bathroom ( ), the lake, the river, laying out by the pool. She is my best friend and has taken well to the wear and tear of living my life.

Now I am saving and deciding what her sister will look like.
