So those of you that have the General Finishes Arm-R-Seal finish on your mods, how are you liking it?
Been thinking about just going with a Teak oil after this batch, doesn't offer as much protection but is much easier for the owner to upkeep for any light scratches and has a more natural wood feel.
My arm-r-seal is holding up very well. I had that one initial fall, which put a couple of scratches in the finish, and I do wish I could fix it myself. I was actually wondering if I could take some sort of solvent, and thin out around the gashes in the finish, to get it to seal back up; but, unless you have a recommendation for a solvent to use to do that, I probably won't try it, for fear of clouding up the finish, and making a mess of things.
I was intending-- down the road a bit when I can afford to get another mod from you (heaven forbid something happen to Purdy before I have some sort of a back up...), that maybe I could send 'er to you for a refinishing. I didn't ask, though, 'cause that's a ways away yet...
On the chargers: I use the Trustfire tr-003 which super-T sells; the automatic cut-off works, and all 4 bays charge up to 4.21v-- I've checked all bays, twice. Works pretty easy-- and it ships out with genuine engrish, standard!
