I USE my hog mods everyday, whether at home-out in the yard working or on the few occasions that I have to go out.
Wear an ego on a lanyard, just "in case" also. Ayla is far too pretty and works so well, that I rarely use anything else.
The people at the grocery and hardware stores are intrigued with her, especialy when I take the back off and show them how she works. I make my own clothes with big "working pockets" , so if she is not in my hand, she is in my pocket, except when sleeping-LOL !!

I have a question for all of you collectors of fine wood mods. How many of you have a "knock around mod", as well as your "woodies"? Or do you use something small and unassuming when you're out, like an Ego. I don't think I could go back to that...

I truly love to read all the positive feedback from you all. Mike takes so much pride in everything he builds. If he thinks he would be disappointed in something on any level, he just will not send it to you. I love him for that!

He is not the only one who has pride in #61. I can't put the damn thing down! My Megalodon is feeling a bit neglected...

As I said in an earlier post--this is my first wood mod and I am truly amazed by the tolerances in the door and the smooth seams in the caps and inlays. There would be gaps and bumps everywhere if I tried to make this!

Excellent job Mike!

The way I figure it, my beautiful wood mods are especially for out and about since they will be so cool. I don't want to hide them at home. Don't worry, I'll take good care of them especially since the "curse of the wood mods" has struck. I'm designing a handbag for myself that will have little cargo pockets all around, so my mods will be safe and sound.

I figure I'll have 4-5 different wood mods, and I have a Krimson Kustom Evercool VV coming that runs on 2-18650's for when I just don't feel like dealing with recharging batts. I probably will have Mike make me one like this, too, should he be so inclined.

It's like the "special dishes" that only come out for special occasions. :)

I wouldn't take it to the pool, but anywhere I go that I have a reasonable expectation *not* to ruin my clothes, I assume the same is true for my PVs.

I can completely understand what you mean. I used to feel that way.

I find that as I get older and "grow up" more, I don't want to save the "good stuff" for special occasions. Every day is a special occasion now. I can't tell you how many times I've saved a special outfit for that special occasion, only to find that it was out of style by the time I wanted to wear it, or it didn't fit. Meanwhile, I could have been enjoying it a lot more. I no longer keep jewelry for special occasions. Even when I am home all day alone, I wear what I choose and pick accessories just to please myself. Not to say, I dress in an evening gown dripping in jewels to do housework, but I'm sure you get my drift.

I suppose, then, that I will vape my best mods wherever I am, unless swimming, of course. :)

BTW, I also use my "special dishes" every day. LOL

at my age (70) I use and admire Bianca's workmanship and Ayla's beauty much much more in my hands, than what would be seen and admired on a shelf etc. or in a room that I pass through. Good china is in the china closet to pass down, but may only get actually seen on dusting days, LOL !! ( or dusting month- who actually dusts a china closet every day anyway-LOL ) )

Im all for enjoying what ya have. Saving things for special occasions that might or might not come seems like a waste.
Spending a bunch of money on something nice like china that only comes out for special guests once or twice a year is a shame. Aren't you special too and deserve to enjoy it?
Its like people that buy cars with expensive leather seats and then put cloth seat covers on them so they don't get messed up. What's the point of that? If all your ever going to see and feel is cloth.

Mike, I know your VV mods use 18350 batteries. Any input/idea how long they last on a full charge? I have an idea of how long a single lasts me in a tube mod, but have no clue if stacking them would either increase, decrease, or have no effect at all on battery life.

Edit--I did some research at Battery U and found that a series connection doesn't affect the mAh of batteries, only the volts.

I saw someone ask the other day about dual 18650s. Are there any option for this WITH a bottom feeder? Or would that make it too large and unwieldy?

I am still curious about a dual 18650 option, though.

I don't even have special dishes. I like some, I buy them, they go in the cupboard with all the others in "regular rotation."

That's why I only use two PV's anymore: Hog's Mod #13 is my go-to, in or out, use all the timer. Unless there is a reasonable expectation of having it knocked out of my hands and/or it hitting rocks/concrete/the raging fires of h377--then I take my GGTS. One is like fine cabinetry, built to be admired while it is being used and the other is a pocketable Sherman tank with which you can vape.

Ummm...I put the cloth on my leather seats in the summer not to keep from messing up the seats, but to keep from losing three layers of skin every time I get out of the car. They're not nearly as bad as vinyl, but they do get sticky when the sweat starts flowing ;)
