Thanks didn't realize they started early. Just picked up 11 pair myself!

Np man, think I did alright this BF, 48 for the mod shipped, 4 batteries for 13.99 shipped.

Honestly all the other 2 batt mods I was looking at Aspire one, smok one, etc...didn't seems as well made at this guy and were around the same price.

Not bad at all. Was thinking Vaporbeast might drop the Slice back down to 29.95 again tomorrow or Friday, but they may not. Vaporcube may do something as well. If you get a chance to nail one that cheap, jump on it.

I would have went with the Slice but I feel like one battery mods aren't my thing, I have an Evic mini and I honestly dislike the thing...giving it to my mom, she just quit cigs and is using an ego AIO(Coils are terrible, they die out in 2-3 days for her).

Oh yeah whats the weight like on this thing compared to say a Rx200? Lighter?

The problem is the EGO AIO is not a TC Mod. Get her the EVIC AIO or EGRIP 2 using 0.25 notch coils and the anti spitback drip tip from the Vanilla Atty at Fasttech (Aromamizer Clone). I'm still on my first ss notch coil for my Egrip 2 under TC. No problems.

Only stopped using it a few weeks ago when I got my Smoant Knight v2s (using Cubis tank w/0.25 ss notch instead of the Talos) as they are lighter and allow use of any tank. FT has 15% off the Knight v2 right now.

G2 is lighter than a RX200.

I will look into those, thanks, shame she JUST bought the AIO, I kinda like it tbh, shame the coils are gunk, was gonna get one as a throw around/concert vape.

Glad to know it's lighter, funny cause in photos it LOOKS bigger, my right hand is not in the best condition, so glad it's a tad lighter.

I am gonna build here a bunch of coils for now, she loves my Lemo Drop and I got a spare, It's my all time fav tank, feel like it always will be, only negative is the fill hole, but it wicks max vg amazingly and has the perfect draw for me. She seemed to enjoy it also, I don't mind making coils, I am a robot at that now basically, pop a couple out in 5 mins :D.

JT BF Notch coils are easier to rebuild/rewick than the BF RBA & will last forever if used under TC & carefully rewicked to avoid distortion.

G2 is a lot bigger than RX200, but aluminum, not zinc & only carries 2 batteries. It is a bit unwieldy and boxy as hell, but works like a charm. Why I prefer Slice.

Lemo was a good tank. I loved my Lemo2s. One of best single coil attys ever. Still use them for singles. Aromamizer for Duals. Cubis for cheap on the go don't have time or inclination to build type situations. Know where your coming from.

I see, I have seen those coils, never used one, might pick that up tho for me and my mom, sounds like a nice type of coil.

I got big hands, the RX200 was just a LITTLE to heavy for me tbh, not by much, this should fit alright in my hands(I preferred the OG Xbox controller over the smaller one for an example)

Very intrigued about hohms mods could someone answer these simple questions I have? How does the Hohm wrecker g2 work with Nife52? Can I easily set my own tcr values? Also is the g2 151w or 171w?

Thanks

Yes, the G2 and Slice both work with Nife52. You woukd have to put it into xxx mode (any wire mode) and adjust FSK % until you are happy with the vape. It works differently than tcr but will work with any metal. There are presets already for Ni, Ti, SS 304, 316, 317, 430, Tungsten, Nichrome and Kanthal but you could just keep it in xxx mode and adjust FSK from there.

The G2 was originally 151 watts but with a firmware update they upgraded it to 171 watts. The latest update they did back in September really improved the mod a lot. It was already great, just refined it even more.

Thanks, this all looks like something she might be interested in, will pass it along to her, those coils...look like the ones in the AIO, guessing the ohms are to low for it though...Knight mod looks pretty sweet tbh, I might wanna grab that eventually. I have to go hide my credit card now....

Is there really such a thing as TC with kanthal? Surprised reading of people doing TC with good ole kanthal? This is regular A1 Annealed Round wire kanthal right? Didn't think this was possible. Never heard of TC with any other mod even DNA mods that will work with kanthal in TC, I'd be shocked!

Unless people are referring to Nifethal which is in the same family as kanthal but the wires are definitely different.

Well I am not getting for that reason(I use SS) but some people have had success(From around the web some say it's BS, but they might just not being hitting the sweet spot, seems like you need to tinker), this is the creator explaining it.

Some say it works great though, I doubt it's AS accurate as other wires in TC but if configured right it seems to stop dry hits...

Honestly for 48 shipped on Vaporcube it's a good price even without the kanthal TC I would say, seems built tougher then a lot of other mods in that price range, I would argue(Again dont have it yet, maybe its the best device EVER) that the retail price is a bit much.

Yes it does work. Some people like to say it's Taste Control instead of Temp Control, really doesn't matter to me. Even PBrusardo said it really is temperature guessing even with DNA boards. If you set it at 450 the DNA is the most accurate but it does not stop on a dime at 450. The FSK chip relies more on the user to determine when the temp throttles back when it comes to Kanthal. Once it knows the parameters when you set your FSK % then it is consistant.

All I know is I can set it in xxx mode, have my FSK % around 2.5 to 5% depending on my kanthal build it will fire until my cotton runs dry and throttle back. It does take some practice but once you got it it becomes second nature. The Kanthal preset works much better with the latest update, I just came up when we were all using the xxx mode so it is easier for me.

Evolv is the pioneer of TC and everyone follows there lead except maybe only Hohm tech. I am not sure how the tech differs but both work. A lot of people think just because a DNA can't TC Kanthal it can't be done. A lot of us FSK users beg to differ.

Honestly I got **** for even mentioning the device on Reddit, everyone said it was crap, told me I was an idiot for buying it, I should have researched it more, etc...got yelled/trolled at so much I just deleted the thread, pretty sure I am done on Reddit when it comes to the E-Cig community, I use to post a lot there, there was always a couple bad seeds but it seems to have gotten....worse, not saying everyone but damn, 80% of the posts were basically "You're a dumb ****"....yet many of them swoon over the RX200 which is fine, but I would not call it super quality, I won the one I own, but it does give me issues as I discussed here with the TC.

Glad to hear that you guys enjoy it, I hope to also! :)!

Funny question, how would a 30mm RDA look on this, guessing a lot of overhang? I just bought a Big Buddha RDA which I was gonna trow on my RX200(Come on Fasttech....be fast haha), if its to unwieldy I will probably just use it on that.

Honestly I might try TC on Kanthal with this, just to see how that works, I much prefer SS, I am not even sure where I put my roll of Kanthal, been a while, been on the SS train for months now, I'm gonna look for that...

Whoops, accidentally posted without the rest of what I wanted to say.

The only thing that bugs me is people who have not tried it telling me I am wrong. They always list off the way Evolv does TC and if it is not like that then it can't work. The web is full of narrow minded people and more so on reddit.

I mainly use SS as well, keeps it easier so I can TC on all my mods if I want to. I also find SS to be the best all around wire. I still have plenty of older kanthal prebuilt coils and some clapton and straight wire so it comes in handy.

Yeah haha, people sometimes can be slaves to brands, I think SS is the smoothest vape(My throat tells me so, everyone differs tho), even on wattage I noticed that, many love Kanthal but once I tried SS I was sold, I used it in wattage on an Innokin Coolfire 40w for months before getting a TC device.

That's cool, I can deal with a bit of overhang, honestly I just wanted a huge build deck lol...

I have to add - I have purchased three (discounted with promo codes) Wrecker G2s from vaporcube over the past 6 months. The first two are great and with no issues. The third is, in a sense, DOA. It does "turn on" but only displays a continuous "CONNECT ATOMIZER" error. I contacted vaporcube (thru their website's RMA ticket system) the day it was delivered to tell them about this issue. 12 days went by until I got a response. Essentially they apologized for the delay in communication, back-end ticket problems, etc. They said my best bet was to go thru HohmTech's warranty center to resolve the issue. That entails paying a $8 age-verification and return shipping fee and sending the mod to the authorized warranty center (guess who that is? oh yeah its vaporcube) on my own dime.
Needless to say I am not very happy about vaporcubes customer service/support.
